“Wow! This place has outstandingly delicious food. I tried it for the first today. The mac&cheese pie was very chessey with just a bit of golden brown crust, sinfully good. The collard greens were great,with just hint of tangy warmth. The pulled pork is by far some of the best I have ever tasted anywhere not just Asheville area. Good service. Friendly people.”

“The only negative my companion and I experienced on our visit was that they were out of SEVERAL items on the menu, and we were there for an "early" lunch. That means customers following us were going to have even fewer choices for their meals!”

“I was craving some Chinese veggie soup and some fried rice, and I also got a shrimp roll and a veggie roll.
My meal was excellent. The soup was even better than I hoped for. My fried rice was delicious and even better then I anticipated. My shrimp roll was divine, and the entire experience was superb.
They had my order ready so fast that I thought they were saying someone else was ready. My meal was fresh and hot, and they exceeded my expectations and at a very fair price. I will definitely be eating here again.”

“Stopped by to give them a try after work. Everything was high quality and they didn't seem to skimp on their selections, from homemade hot sauces to real sour cream! They even use good quality onions. My Fajita was delicious and the sauces were so complex! They were definitely more than just hot, they had a fantastic flavor. You can really see the quality in the things they cook here and my waitress truly seemed to care about my feelings toward the food. Here the food is a tribute to excellence. I also told the waitress when she asked if I needed a container for the cheese dip "I'll probably pour it overtop like a heathen!" To which she happily said "that's fine!" no judgement here lol! Very good. I will return!”

“Fairly new to this area. I rarely get fast food or eat out. After a few decades in food management, I got tired of sub-par customer experience and good food. I was craving a hot Bojangles biscuit though... wanted a late breakfast.

Went here between 1130-12p. Got sausage egg and cheese biscuit combo. The wait was a bit long in drive thru, but MAN, it was so worth it once I ate the food. I am so stupidly impressed. The biscuit tasted fresh and I never usually get that after AM hours. Even the egg tasted fluffy and fresh, cheese melted.... the Bo rounds were definitely fresh.

Wanted to make sure I came on and let the company and store know. I know all too well its easy to hear only the bad stuff. The food tasting great and being fresh is well worth if drive thru gets backed up and times get a little longer.

Huge thank you to this store and team working on this shift! Ill spread the word all day long if I see this is consistent and not a one off. Great job team.

“I recently moved back to Candler and discovered Budgie’s —— I won’t be able to stay out of that place! It’s so good! I’ve tried a variety of their tasty treats and I was impressed that every single item I picked was DELICIOUS. The food is made with care and heart, which shows through in how they treat their customers with friendly I felt right at home talking about the buffet of treats and shopping their local artist section. I’ve heard many friends and neighbors speak highly of the bakery. Especially the extent to which they helped take care of the community during Helene and continue to in so many different ways. I’m looking forward to Sunday Doughnut Day!!!”

“What in the world???! I had driven by Whisk AVL for years and man am I kicking myself now. You can’t see the baked goods (I couldn’t from the car) but the prices were reasonable/on par with other bakeries.. Yall!! She’s tricking us! Charging us normal cinnamon roll prices and somehow the rolls themselves are bigger than your head! Worth it, stop by, you’ll be happy you did!”

“We ordered a chocolate cheesecake and she delivered the flavor! She responds very quickly and everything went smoothly. Address was easy to find for pickup, she took Venmo, and was very sweet! She came highly recommended from someone who says “anything you order will be the best you’ve had!”. Ordering was easy, too!”

“Best bread and cinnamon rolls! Bought them at the Leicester tailgate market. Practically ate the cinnamon rolls on the way home. The bread with seeds has the best texture and the flavor is excellent with an entree, soup, salad, or sandwich. The bread has a wonderful crust and beautiful inside texture. One slice is not enough. The loaf was so delicious I found myself just having a slice as a snack with a great olive oil. I spent most of my market money on Susi bread and was happy I did. Today was tailgate market Wednesday in Leicester and a thunderstorm was the weather. Nevertheless, I was late and practically cried to note Susi Bread like others wrapped up early. I am now googling their other locations and am determined to find those cinnamon rolls and delicious bread.”
