“We've been to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk so many times but never stopped in to try the gelato. SO glad I stopped in this time. The young lady working the counter was so friendly, she greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. The store is bright and clean, they have items/souvenirs for sale. The gelato is beautifully displayed and the flavors are clearly marked. They offer gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free options. I chose the chocolate oreo for myself and the sugar-free strawberry cream for my husband. I was taking the gelato back to our rental unit, so she offered full-size spoons or tasting-size spoons and napkins, and asked if I needed an insulated bag. The gelato was smooth, creamy and delicious. We will definitely stop back in again on our next trip to CB.“

“Just a walk up hole in the wall. The two servers that were working were very helpful and extremely personable. We had the butter pecan ice cream and the blueberry cheesecake ice cream. Both were delicious. We then could not resist the funnel cake that they drizzled with chocolate and peanut butter sauce and topped with whipped cream! A definite must go!!“

“I was in Carolina beach for a business trip and stumbled upon Malama for breakfast. All I can say is WOW! The best coffee I have ever had and I'm a coffee snob. LOL. I also had the avocado toast and it was the bomb!! Now if I can just convince them to open a store here in Charlotte NC.“

“The worst thing is paying CB to pay to park! The food, however, is worth the price. Steaks , rib eyes, pasta dishes, shrimp, everything we have ever gotten is cooked to perfection. The homemade rolls are melt in your mouth delicious! We always leave stuffed, but IF they would make the pick to order salads larger....we wouldn't waste it! Everything is fresh! Highly recommend. But it is a little pricey if bringing children“

“My husband and I stopped in yesterday for a beer. We totally enjoyed our time spent there. We were in town on vacation and the workers made us feel very welcome. We met several people and enjoyed more than the one beer we had planned to get. This place is awesome, with lots of draft beer, cans and bottles, different wines, and delicious coffee. I didn't try the coffee but a couple different customers said it was great. If we make it back to this area on another vacation you can bet we'll be found there. Highly reccomend!“

“We live locally so we come here A LOT, especially in the off season. Off-season this is the place to be because they do pumpkin patches for the kiddos and a Christmas Tree lot. On-season the quality of food/service is still there and their kid-friendliness keeps us coming back, especially the sturdy baby changing stations and the wide variety of high chairs available for low tables and high tables. All in all we are impressed and pleased with the changes. When we come to eat we LOVE the BABLT and the Burger.“

“Tonight's we went because we heard they had chargrilled octopus as an appetizer. OMG‼️It was out of this world! Chargrilled octopus, drizzled with a lovely lemon vinaigrette & microgreens, served with grilled potatoes, and a great charred lemon. Chef Larry outdid himself...to the point that I ordered another one to take home and freeze! Staff and bartenders were excellent‼️ We highly recommend you make it to Michael's ‼️😍♥️👍👍👍“

“Pier under construction and repair, so Tiki Bar is closed. However, the High Tide lounge was open and serving drinks and had minimal food offerings. Burger, Mahi sandwich, hot dogs with gourmet toppings, and a few appetizers. No fryer, so a bag of chips, as a side, is the only option. Mahi was excellent, thick cut made for a meaty sandwich.“

“Haven’t been able to stop by here in a long time - probably two years at least. Nothing has changed in the best way possible. Phenomenal coffee, warm and welcoming staff, comfy place to hang out, and there is cool art work, jewelry, and other items for sale. The owner is behind the counter regularly. She is kind, and funny, and she makes the best coffee I’ve had in NC. Highly recommend!“

“Such a great little spot! We love hanging out in the off season while it’s not so busy or hot. Great view, food and friendly staff. Wish prices were a little less, but it doesn’t deter us from coming to hang!
