“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Iza. We had fantastic crafted cocktails and an appetizer of crispy Brussels sprouts which were the best we had ever had. Two of us have some allergy restrictions and they could not have been more amenable to creating us delicious and allergy safe foods. They even brought us out a few specially created dishes that were truly the best we had ever tasted. The customer service is impeccable, from the bartender to our server, to the owners making our dining experience one we will remember! We will be coming back to Iza very soon and highly recommend!! “First time visiting, but won’t be the last. Loved the food with unique flavorful dishes you won’t find anywhere else. Food arrived quickly and hot. I also appreciate that the menu gave very detailed descriptions especially since I’m not familiar with an Asian fused soul food menu.Couldn’t decided what to order because every combo appeared delicious. Ordered enough to sample. Now we’ll order the rest of the menu for a future return visit.Currently open on Saturdays.“

“I honestly judge an Asian restaurant on its hot and sour soup. I am delighted to discover that Peony Asian Bistro's hot and sour soup may be the best I've EVER had--and that is saying something! It was just the right level of sour and spicy, and the fresh mushrooms floating on top were absolutely delicious. In addition, the consistency of the broth was perfect. Far too many restaurants make it so that the soup is more like gelatin than liquid--ugh. The portion sizes for lunch were very generous, and while the beef and broccoli I ordered was not as flavorful as the soup, it was still pretty good. Finally, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. When I realized I had left my wallet at home, they offered Apple Pay and I was able to have a truly delicious lunch. I am a very happy customer and will definitely visit often!“

“We had such a great experience. Lizz was our server and she was amazing!!! This was our family’s first time here and we were celebrating our son for earning straight A’s on his report card. They gave him the most delicious donuts and Lizz made really excellent dish recommendations. We will return for sure!!“

“Since I moved to Chapel Hill, Lucha Tigre has been my favorite restaurant. Their service and quality can’t be denied, but I am so upset that the Asian Glazed Chicken (my favorite dish) has been removed from the menu.“

“We received the best service from Mariah this Sat. It was a party of 25 guests, she serviced use with 100% customer service. the food was great and we were leaving a funeral which was a bad day for all, we left feeling a littler lighter, due to the our server. She is a GEM.“

“Girls just wanna have pho! 😎 Stumbled upon this fantastic gem, the most delicious grilled pork banh mi I ever had, the bread was deliciously soft in the middle and a crispy crunch on the outside mixed with all the wonderful flavors. The crab rangoons came out hot and piping were perfectly fried with crispy ends! ❤️“

“For some reason, everyone was packed onto one side of the dining area. We were right on top of people to our left and right, but figured they may be short staffed. The waitress was very sweet, bless her heart. The food is delicious and the portion is good. However, I don't think the food quality and portions explain the ridiculously high prices. I don't think I'd eat here again, because Soo Cafe has food just as good for a cheaper price.“

“A really solid Chinese restaurant. The menu is fairly tight, not overbloated, which can be a pro or a con depending how you like it. There is a mix of classic Chinese-American dishes like sesame chicken, as well as some more traditional Chinese dishes like some Szechuan hot pots (we got the eggplant hotpot, very tasty), and shrimp walnut. You won't find any of the more adventurous Chinese dishes like intestines, lotus root, lamb, etc. Overall however, we enjoyed the food. The salt and pepper fried squid in particular was a treat.“

“Celebrated Chinese New Year with friends on Sunday at Lunch time. We were the only table but they were very busy with takeout orders. We ordered Happy Family, General Taos Chicken. Seafood Delight, Chicken wings, steamed Broccoli, noodles and pork dish and shared. All of the dishes were very good and the waitress took time to take photos for us.“

“This was a really cool find for my wife and I. We vibe inside was very relaxed. The sushi is amazing, we got the Diablo roll, yellowtail nigiri and the Chirashi. Everything was delicious and the cuts of nigiri were practically perfect. Really cool to see the owner walking around talking to patrons as well as bussing tables.
We will definitely be back.“
