“Dear sweet baby llamas yall....this place is so good! I discovered this place while picking up a delivery order and fell in love. I've been a few times to get drinks and just chat it up with the staff while on break. But tonight I had the Assorted Arepas, polenta cakes with pork, chicken, jackfruit, and brisket. Absolutely amazing. I also got a mocktail cuz I was still technically "on the job", a ginger ale concoction that was wonderful. The restaurant has the feel of being part of the neighborhood for years, but from what I gather of my new friends at Luna, it's only been around since 2020. Needless to say, being new to the area it's nice to make new friends and find a new place to be wined and dined. Definitely will be back soon for food, drinks, and new friendships!“

“Second visit. Was a little disappointed in the food this time. Previously had one the their delicious bowls. This time I ordered an arepa and an empanada. Both were dry, and the ratio of fillings to dough was off. Might try them one more time.“

“Don't eat at the one in Fayetteville. The location used to be Fabe's and that was great. The locations for Alpaca in Sanford and Raleigh are great, too, but I got food from the one in Fayetteville the other day and was so disappointed. The chicken was not nearly as flavorful as it should have been and the green sauce was like that as well. It was just sad. I suppose I should have guessed based on the two staff members running the counter. They looked and acted like they wanted to be anywhere else.“

“Met the manager, she was really nice. The grilled chicken was very tasty I just wish that it was cooked longer. I absolutely love the string beans, yuca fries and fried plantains here. the self serve sauces to pair with the chicken are good too.“

“Great little restaurant in a strip mall. The food was really good. We had the ceviche (very good!), lomo saltado and chicharrón mixto. The plates were big, the flavor was good and the service was also good. There were five adults in our party and they charged 20% gratuity automatically. I don't considered a five adult party to be a big group, so I was surprised when we got our check. The service was good, so I didn't mind the 20% gratuity this time.“

“This was my second time to La Montaña and both times I've had a Great experience. For this experience, I called ahead and spoke to one of the hostesses to see if they could make their Diablo dish non-spicy since I wanted to bring my best friend for her birthday and knew she would love it, but she doesn't eat spicy food. When I called, the hostess was So Sweet. She took down my number, called the owner / chef to see if they could do it for us, called me back with a "Yes" AND made a note about it in our reservation. So A+++ to her and the chef for their kindness, flexibility and wonderful customer care. When we arrived, all the staff were welcoming and helpful. Then came our Curry Shrimp dishes; The Diablo (the normal spicy version) and The Angel (as our funny and very attentive waiter Colby (?) referred to the non-spicy version as). We were both in heaven. This is really the most delicious and flavorful curry sauce we've ever had. It's served with rice and this thick, delicious sourdough bread, and dipping the rice or the bread in the sauce are both different and equally delicious experiences. We both enjoyed a glass of the Cabernet, which was perfect. Lastly, we liked the feel and lighting of the restaurant and were especially touched by the story on the back of the menu about the restaurant's inception. Thank you La Montaña! We will be back!“
