“Found this gem by accident when we were over in Durham one evening. The menu looked great, but you never know, right? It wasn’t too busy when we arrived and the worker taking orders greeted us when we came in the door. He was engaging and passionate about the menu items. The wait for food wasn’t too long… and when the food came.. WOW! Seriously some of the best empanadas and tacos I’ve had. The barbacoa was full of flavor. The pork tacos with pineapple were yum! Chips and salsa were a hit! Seriously so glad we found this place. Definitely going on the repeat visit list!“
“This is one of my top five restaurants in this area. I love love love the food. The service is always top tier. Sometimes I find myself dancing while ordering food because it’s always a nice tune playing on the radio. Some days I done in and it’s always nice and clean. Some days I order my food to go. Either way I am never disappointed with the service or my food! ❤️“
“I had been meaning to try this spot for some time. As luck would have it, I was in the area for a different event and convinced the group to try out this spot. First off, you scan the qc code for the menu and to order. No cash was accepted. I didn't have a problem with this, but one of the crew did as they only had cash. We went at about lunchtime but the place was not busy and the workers were very attentive. Overall all, I enjoyed the food. Can it beat out grandma on the island, of course not. But, I liked the offering and was pleased with the visit. Plus, no one beat Grandma. Lol“
“Great little restaurant in a strip mall. The food was really good. We had the ceviche (very good!), lomo saltado and chicharrón mixto. The plates were big, the flavor was good and the service was also good. There were five adults in our party and they charged 20% gratuity automatically. I don't considered a five adult party to be a big group, so I was surprised when we got our check. The service was good, so I didn't mind the 20% gratuity this time.“

“Met the manager, she was really nice. The grilled chicken was very tasty I just wish that it was cooked longer. I absolutely love the string beans, yuca fries and fried plantains here. the self serve sauces to pair with the chicken are good too.“

“My family is from Mexico and these tacos are AMAZING!!! incredibly authentic food and wonderful service! The restaurant is connected to the store and the store also had a great selection of Mexican foods and groceries. If you want delicious Mexican food, the place is a must! Also, the restaurant closes at 7:30pm while the whole store closes at 8pm so plan accordingly.“
“I 100% recommend this restaurant. My family tried pretty much everything and it was all so good. The pimento cheese grits and arepas were the best items, but the empanadas, steak kebabs, and drinks were all amazing too. The guacamole that comes on the arepas was the creamiest I have ever had. As for drinks, I recommend the Mane Mojito, it was very refreshing. Our server was kind of quiet, but that's ok.The only downside was the bathroom because one stall was out of order in the women's room.“

“This is the first time I remember having an arepa, & I loved it! I'll definitely be looking for more places to try them. I got the signature shredded beef arepa and added plantains, it was absolutely delicious!!!!!! No complaints, the flavors mingled perfectly! It was only $7.00, & filled me up for lunch. Super casual place, my one suggestion though is don't order it to go, because I saw a lot of customers returning because their orders were messed up. You can also park in the target garage for free!“
