Great all around. Fresh tasting food.
Ordered a to-go pad see ew with a side of white rice and some sodas. Had a slight confusion with the soda but it was quickly resolved. The pad see ew was really really good, perfect flavor. My white rice had some burnt/patches of rice but it was okay for a basic side.
Would definitely order here again to try other items.

Basil Thai Charlotte is a phenomenal spot for authentic Thai food in the city. The food is excellent and amazing, with specific praise for the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Woon Sen, Padd See Eu, and Prik King. Dishes like the green curry and basil rolls are also noted. The staff is very kind, helpful, and attentive, providing great and fast service even when the restaurant is completely full. While the ambience isn't anything special and can be a little chilly, the kitchen works quickly. It is a place many recommend over other Thai restaurants and plan to definitely visit again.
