I attended a catered workshop last night. I expected sandwiches and wraps. I wasn’t halfway to the room when I smelled an amazing aroma. I was instantly jealous, then elated as I discovered that this treasure trail for the senses was coming from my event!! The chicken and vegetarian gumbos were the best I’ve had, EVER! This new NOLA cajun restaurant in Charlotte is fire! Not often does food give me goosebumps, but this little restaurant sure did! Gator bites are fantastic, the red beans and rice are the perfect ratio and taste amazing! The gumbo is just like being back home, and the Strango is a perfect balance. Can't wait to come back next time to try the po-boys!
Authentic is an understatement. Try everything!
