The adjacent Hissho Sushi which shares a cash register with Cíao has a decent veggie roll, which is a decent vegan option in an airport with very few. Posting here as Happy Cow is only currently accepting fully vegan businesses.Vegetarian options: There's a tasty vegan veggie roll.
Amongst the 11 Starbucks in the terminal, we came across Ciao. It was nice to try a new coffee other than Starbucks. We got caramel lattes because the Freddo (the drink we wanted wasn't available) and they were good. He ordered a hot but got iced and wasn't too upset with the mix up as he decided after ordering he wanted iced.

My very favorite place at CLT! I come here even if my flight is in another terminal. The self-checkout is the best I've ever seen and works like freakin' magic. Fantastic, fresh sushi. Good selection of snacks and beverages. Good music selection.
