“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! Thank you for making my daughter’ s birthday and my first time in Charlotte such a great memory!!!“

“This was the perfect date spot night. Live music on Fridays and great craft cocktails. Our server, Mark, was amazing and very tentative. We let him create cocktails for us and they were amazing. Enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone in need of a date night spot“

“This is the best dive bar in CLT. Great prices and friendly staff. Not a cocktail bar, if you want fancy drinks go next door where they make great ones. Come here if you still believe $2 highlife is the right price and enjoy down to earth people.“

“What a fun spot to visit while in town! My girlfriend had been wanting to try it, so we took the opportunity while I was staying with her this week.
We did make reservations for a Monday night, though it wasn't busy at all, so you could probably swing by on a whim should you want to during the week.
The place was a bit elusive to find, as you have to look for the '3 dot sign' with a staff member guarding the door, which I'm sure is the intent!
Once you enter, you walk down a long, candlelit hall, which sets the speakeasy mood right away. Upon entering, the classic speakeasy vibe hits you! Dim lighting, leather chairs, a beautiful bar stocked to the brim with whiskey, bourbon, scotch, and all the other good things you would expect to find in a place that prides itself on great cocktails. It certainly set the mood and got us ready to have an experience.
The mixologists were welcoming and informative. I enjoyed my first drink, which was suggested based on my personal preferences in taste. It was a spin off a classic, and I really enjoyed it. Sort of like a cross of a penicillin and a whiskey sour. [The Never Ending Story]. My friend had the clarified punch since we had similar things we've loved in the past. It was slightly sweet, smooth, and easy to sip. We decided to just get some classics since the cocktail menu felt more like just off shots of other classics we love. They were both excluded well!
But the thing that really blew us away was the food! I was really pleased with this portion of our evening! We had the crispy Brussels sprouts, and they were the best BSs I've ever had! I thought we'd take some home, but that did not happen! My friend got the Mushroom Casarecce. It was creamy and delicious! The beef carpaccio was also really nice.
Overall, we had a nice night, and it was a fun experience to be had!“

“My son, his GF and I had brunch here this past Saturday and it was beyond delightful! The food and the service were absolutely perfect, and the weather for sitting on the patio couldn't have been better. Our server (Samantha?) was spot on, sweet, and very helpful. We ordered the blintzes, Eggs Benedict with cheddar jalapeño grits, Turkish Eggs, and breakfast tacos with home fries and we split everything. We were all in food paradise for the next hour or so. I have never considered myself to be a blintzes person, but each bite was like a pillow of heavenly sweetness. When we got the check we were all shocked that it was only $65, as we all thought it would be over $100. I can't recommend this place more highly and I will return as often as I can!“

“This was the last stop on a self made holiday bar crawl and it was the perfect finish. At first, we weren’t sure how to locate it in the building, but it’s literally across from Hawkers under the big water tower. We came the day after Thanksgiving and they had their igloos out a little early (their official holiday bar doesn’t start until the next Tuesday)so we were able to snag one for a party of nine. I don’t remember our bartender’s name (glasses, curly black hair that was shorter at the top and longer in the back) but she was super helpful and cool! Everyone enjoyed their drinks from the holiday menu and I had something the bartender made with tequila, ginger beer and chai!“
“We hosted a leadership team gathering for my company in the loft and LOVED it. Two separate rooms up stairs were great for small groups to mingle and gather. Downstairs was great for people wanting to watch the game. And we had plenty of space on the large loft when we all came together.
Plenty of food our group in the package pricing and drinks and variety were excellent!
Looking forward to more events here.“

“Let me tell you about the best server ever.
I lost my phone in Charlotte and and Uber driver that didn’t speak English found it walking down the road. Since he only spoke Spanish I went to the bar and Nohemi not only talked to him she negotiated the return of my phone. NOT ONLY THAT. She came out side in the 22 degree weather to help me translate with the guy!
If you come here ask for her, take care of her ,
My faith in humanity is restored!!!!

“Visited here with a group of people late on a Friday night. The place wasn’t crowded, which was perfect because we were a big group. They have good prices for drinks and had great specials. The drinks were surprisingly good! Sometimes the drinks on special at bars aren’t all that good, but the margaritas and lemon drops were bomb! Our server was friendly and fairly attentive to us, and the music was good (a mix of rap, hip hop, and a couple of line dances thrown in). This was a very casual and an easy place to dance, drink, and wind down the night.“

The music is always on point, and front door security Larry deserves a special shoutout—he’s cool, respectful, and really knows how to brighten the night with great energy and laughter makes everyone feel welcome.
