Thomas is exceptional
Sushi was average, similar to the Sushi I get at the grocery store, except the pieces were sticking to each other more than normal. Also, if you get their to go Sushi, you're not allowed to eat it at one of their open air tables. Even when there isn't a single customer at any of the other 2 dozen tables. You are directed to go sit out at the crowded food court. So you're good enough to buy their food, but not sit at their table unless you order something freshly made.
This place has a grab-and-go veggie roll and is a good option if you're making your way through the C Terminal at Charlotte Airport. The sushi itself is pretty mediocre. I've had it a few times and it's varied from time to time. This last time not that great.

The fish is fresh enough for an airport setting. The atmosphere is typical for airport dining—functional but not very inviting. Service is efficient, which is helpful for travelers on a schedule. Prices are a bit high, as expected in an airport environment. Customers have highlighted the excellent service from bartenders Shay, Janice, and Laura, who have provided attentive and friendly service, even customizing drinks and sushi orders. However, one employee was reported to be rude when customers tried to dine at the tables without table service.
