“Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen located in Westerly Hills Plaza Shopping Center has some great, great Fried Chicken!! Perfectly cooked, and seasoned served with friendly staff. They nail the flavor and texture to truly make the perfect fried chicken.I’m not a fan of spicy chicken, and glad they have a mild option and not only peppery.Better than KFC by a lot!

“I can’t say enough about this Popeyes! This location has the best customer service of all the other locations I have been too. The manager precious was absolutely amazing, she made sure my food was fresh and was so friendly, actually the entire staff there was awesome. I will definitely be coming to this location again to get my fresh chicken and biscuits.“
“I went through the drive-through at Popeyes on North Tryon this evening and I have to say, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had at any fast-food spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better from the start.
As for the food—outstanding! Everything was fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked.its clear that they take pride in both their service and food quality. I left as a happy customer and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this Popeyes location!“
“I visited this location on Wednesday evening and I want to sincerely thank the lady manager and the male cook who were the only two staff members working that day. Despite being severely understaffed and dealing with a broken soda fountain machine, they still managed to provide great customer service and serve decent food. They were severely short staffed so my expectations were low in regards to the food quality. Nonetheless, the young black woman and manager, in particular, remained calm, professional, and composed throughout it all—may God bless her!
That said, it’s unacceptable for them to be put in that position. Corporate seriously needs to step in and hire more workers for this location ASAP!!! It’s unfair and unsustainable to expect one manager and one cook to handle a full store and all the DoorDash orders on their own.“

“Ordered from Door dash and they left out my shrimp and coleslaw. I called the store and talked to Shay (? Shea ) and she was so apologetic ( was door dash fault for not checking order ) Shay told me to come see her the next day or whenever in the area and she’d make it right . We went the next day and she came up and talked to me and got me fresh popcorn shrimp and tasty coleslaw. Also the fried chicken and garlic wings we got the night before were absolutely DELICIOUS. I am really amazed at the great way I was treated . Will definitely be back ! Popeyes is now my only place to go when I want chicken . Thank you ?“
“I like Popeyes food, but on this visit it was subpar. The fries were cold and tasted like the fryer oil needed to be changed. They forgot the bacon and cheese on my bacon and cheese sandwich. The chicken tasted good though. To spend over $20 for two people to eat fast food is crazy when you're not getting quality. I can go to a full service restaurant and get better food for the same price...“

“I visited this store only 3–4 times in the past three years due to long wait times. On 9/8/2025, I placed an order at 3:24pm and waited about 20–25 minutes just for two chicken legs out of a 10-piece order. One young woman in an orange T-shirt (possibly the manager) stood out, she was knowledgeable, hardworking, and kept things moving for both window and inside customers. If the rest of the team matched her effort, this would easily be a 5-star store.
Food was mixed: the smaller pieces were delicious, but one large breast seemed undercooked, and the coleslaw didn’t taste fresh. I hope management takes note, better training could really turn this location around. Thanks.“
“My cashier name was mari she was EXCELLENT very nice usually when I come they are so rude at night but the anytime Jay the manager there works she has the best crew they also have another girl whose a manager on nights she sooo rude and stuck up but other then that team on point“
