This was our first visit to Poplar Tapas Wine & Spirits tonight! It was located in a quaint neighborhood in Charlotte. It had street parking, which we didn't have any trouble finding a spot. It had great outdoor seating with live music starting around 7 pm. The staff was very friendly and took exceptional care of us. The inside is very charming and the food was outstanding! Such a hidden gem in the fourth ward. Love the outdoor patio (though there’s not much shade during the late afternoon as summer sets in). The inside is wonderful — the bar is to the left after you walk in and has a great ambiance for grabbing a drink and unwinding. The dining space feels like you are in someone’s home, a great atmosphere for catching up with friends. Excellent local restaurant! Food and drinks are always amazing and the atmosphere is super relaxed, one of our favorite places for a date night! Check out their monthly event night!! Went recently for their Argentina night with some excellent salsa dancers and themed food with wine pairings! Highly recommended!
