Had a great bagel and friendly staff, just disappointed by the pizza situation….
I’ve always loved poppy’s Bagels But I think it is very rude to be closing down a restaurant (all inside tables and chairs up, mopping floors, grill closed down) an hour and 30 minutes before their posted closing time!!! I asked when they were closing and she said “today we close at 2 instead of 3” I am not sure why they were closing early but even so, they were packing up shop 30 min before the new closing time.

Second or third time here. I try to support small businesses when I can but I am no longer supporting businesses that are not taking community health seriously. I went in to place a quick order and a group of adolescents came in without masks. No one asked them to put on masks. In fact: 1. No sign on the door stating Mecklenburg county's mandate to wear a mask. 2. None of the kitchen staff wearing masks. I was by the door and could see the kitchen.
