Visited from NYC. Never had dumplings like this before. Wow- the flavor was out of this world. The dumplings are bathed in a chili oil sauce and garnished with what I’m assuming was cilantro. I ordered the roast pork belly and the shrimp + chicken. The belly was infinitely superior in flavor. Both orders good but that roast pork belly was so delicious and flavorful. First time at The Dumpling Lady and the food was good! The sweet pork belly dumplings were perfect! I will def be getting those again, they're spicy tho so if you can't handle spice beware! Also tried the shiitake chicken stew noodles. They were also good but not as flavorful as the dumplings, I would probably try the pork or beef noodles next time!
For what it was and the taste, save your money and go to a dumpling house like Sun Kitchen. The dan dan noodles were just okay and wonton’s in chili oil were bad, no flavor other than hot, mushy dough and no filling. Hard pass, not worth a second try. Also, the staff were really unfriendly. Placed a mobile order, they never texted so when I walked up to ask about the food being ready she just shoved a bag at me. I mentioned that the texting part of their order process wasn’t...
