“This time up on the plate was Peters Pancakes& Waffles. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot near WCU in Cherokee, NC, Peter's Pancakes & Waffles is a must-try. The "Ranch Hand Breakfast #3" is a hearty meal with perfectly cooked potatoes, flavorful country ham, and fluffy pancakes. The pancakes were a pleasant surprise – light, fluffy, and topped with a generous scoop of butter. With ample parking and clean restrooms, it's the ideal place for a satisfying breakfast. We went on a Sunday, you should anticipate a 30 min wait.

“We had a great experience at Guy’s restaurant! The place was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and our food was fresh and delicious. Portions were big. The bacon Mac and cheese burger was delicious! The burger hung way off the bun and the onion straws were a nice addition. It was my birthday, so I indulged in the cheesecake. Dude! They gave me a whole half!!! of cheesecake that came with potato chips and pretzels on it, drizzled with chocolate syrup. Potato chips were a bit odd, but the pretzels were awesome on it! ?❤️ Our waiter was very kind, the bus boy was very busy cleaning up after people and when we finished, he immediately came over and offered to take our plates. It was a wonderful meal and we will be back our trip up!“

Steak came out wrong had to be sent back , I felt like the manager girl didn’t care she was not wanting to deal with it, but he insisted. We’re not tourist we live here we frequent that location several times a year. .“

“We love the Selu for its excellent breakfast which is one of our favorite meals. Sunday was the first time we got oatmeal and it could have been hotter. It's was lukewarm at best. We assumed it would be hot since they open at 7am and we were one of the first ones there. Other than that the food is good and the staff members are wonderful. Been going there over 5 years.“

“We were there in February 2023. We found this way after a long trip to the food court which was closed! After being disappointed the food court was closed the Strikes Lounge more than made up for that. The beer cost less than inside the casino and super close to the areas we were playing in AND you can take your beer from there to the casino. The food we had was hot tasty and very inexpensive. Our server was so personable and checked in on us every time she was walked by (which was very often). We were well cared for and tipped very well. This is now our go to for beers and food.“

“We went to the Battersea Power Station branch on a Wednesday evening and were pretty excited as it was our first time at this (or any other) Gordon Ramsey restaurant. We liked the concept and atmosphere and the pizza was worth the money. However, the service let the whole thing down - huge waits for drinks, a dessert and our bill (despite polite reminders). When we then said we were unhappy to pay the 15% service charge automatically added to the bill as a result of these issues, it took 3 tries and 2 people for them to charge us the right amount! We ended up the only table left, very tired and keen to leave, but still trying to pay the right amount.“

“Wedge salad and crab cakes were both wonderful. Prime rib was ok but I've had better at other places. NY strip was very good. Carrots on both were very hard. Service was exceptional. Noise level is a little loud cause walls do not go all the way up so you hear the noise from the casino. Overall a nice experience.“

“We ate dinner there on a Monday, 9/25/23 while on our 50th anniversary vacation. We chose the outdoor seating. My wife got the vegetarian tacos with a side of sweet potato tots. I got the fried shrimp tacos with a chef’s side of maple balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. The food was fantastic and a big thanks to our server, Eliza C., who was super! “We had two signature items from the menu that we have had many times. Not up to par this time (9-21-22). French onion soup was like warm. Mediterranean appetizer over browned. Italian pasta salad needed more oil and grated cheese. The added tofu was practically burnt and flavorless.“

“Had a few beers and met some locals in the process, sitting at the downstairs bar. Great staff and great customers! I had a German Pilsner, a seasonal porter, and a really good sour (blueberry cheesecake maybe?). They were all excellent. The upstairs with the rooftop looked pretty cool. I ran up there just to see what it was like. The vibe was a bit more lively up there for sure. Great location right on the river in the heart of Bryson City.“

“The staff was very friendly but service was a little slow, getting water took maybe 10 minutes but we had chips and salsa after maybe 5. Once we got our food and drink orders in it was pretty quick but my wife did get her fajitas a few minutes before I got my food. I got the Guayabitos special and absolutely loved it. I loved getting to essentially sample pork, shredded and ground beef, and pulled chicken with all the typical Mexican toppings across 3 different dishes (tamale, taquitos, nachos). The portions were certainly plentiful as well, I was very satisfied with the visit.“

“Excellent food, reasonable prices, large portions, very good service. We went to El Patron on a busy Friday night. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which was very reasonable for a busy Friday. We were greeted promptly, received our drink order quickly, and our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our food arrived hot and was exactly how we ordered it. One minor complaint was the queso was very runny and would pretty much drip off of the tortilla chips back into the bowl or onto the table. It tasted fine, but was very thin. Overall, a great experience and we'll be back.“
