“I only go from 11-2:30 or 4-7. I LOVE the food especially the fried chicken wings. The salad bar is not big but does have the essentials that are ALWAYS fresh. Everybody that works there are super nice. Everything looks clean. My favorites are the fried chicken wings, egg-drop soup, salads, roast pork, and gun-fire chicken! They have a cold bar too that has fruit and desserts. There are always 3-4 kinds of soup. I've tried everything though and NEVER been disappointed. Not very expensive and worth the drive to Chocowinity.”

“Since this was just a passing through for lunch meal, I wasn't expecting to get the food I got. If I had known what to expect. I may have taken pictures. However, I did not. With that said, this is a great restaurant with very fresh seafood and very well made rolls. A very nice and surprising find given its location! Will definitely keep this in mind on my next visit in the area!”

“Today, Jan 20, 2022 at approximately 4pm, I had the worst drive thru experience of my life at this Hardee's location in Chocowinity, NC. I ordered @$29 worth of food. The general manager, Keiquanda, went to hand me my 3 drinks in a drink tray, in which I rarely use anyway. But she handed it to me with the 1 odd drink towards me. I was trying to pick it up with my left hand, which I have severe arthritis in my left elbow. The 2 heavy drinks tipped and spilled a little, but did not fall. She instantly got mad and started putting the old drink tray into another one and said, "It was the way you just SNATCHED it up.."..I said me? I didn't snatch anything! It proceeded into a word battle. I was trying to explain to her how the drinks were heavy on one side but she kept talking loud over me so it ended up in a shouting match, especially after she slammed the drive thru window door in my face. Ppl started coming out of the back saying "what's the problem?" A girl with XLong black and white nails with her hair pulled back in a small ponytail and some boys. The girl told me to not point my finger at her. I told her I didn't point my finger at her that I was trying to explain but it was my finger I could do with it what I wanted to. She (the general manager) threw off her headgear to try to "fight" me. My 9 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter saw and heard everything. When she pulled off her headgear to fight, my son hopped out of the car to defend me which in turn I called him right back in the car. He knew I was in a hard cast on my lower extremities.I said "it's a shame that I came here and spent $30 to be treated this way." She then screamed, "I'll give you your $30 back! I ain't got time to deal with this!" I didn't want my money back. I wanted my food I ordered. Then she hatefully handed my money to me and said, "keep the drinks!" She then told her coworkers to "start recording". I said "Yesss!! please do!" They were slamming the drive thru window in my face, the general manager and a guy from the back and the girl with the long nails.She was trying to make this a racial issue, when in fact, it was never that.That couldn't be farther from the truth. This general manager wants to be a YouTube or Facebook star. This Hardee's location will end up on the news with this female if you're not careful. Her comment about me "snatching" the drink tray was the instigating factor and she made sure to blow it up after that. Beware to those people who plan to eat here. It's a ticking time bomb. As for me and my house and entire family, we will steer clear and leave it to the type of ppl who want drama. In the meantime, my son whom is an active politician/law student and local school teacher, will make sure to handle this the appropriate route. He was on the phone via messenger with me with entire time and heard the entire exchange. His nurse mother that is in a hard cast was mistreated here. Derrick Cowan (district manager), please give my son a call. He left his number with the general manager. If you don't get it, you may want to ask her about it. Oh yes, and I never got a receipt for my initial purchase prior to the unrequested and hurried refund that she gave. But I DID, in fact, get pictures of her hiding from the camera and all of her coworkers that were involved, even if they had their hands up trying to block my camera. I'm not sure why since she was telling them to record. Yes I do know why. Because they knew and she knew what she had done.”

“Slightly off 17, but worth the traffic lights. I’ve never had a bad experience. Starting to be my go-to stop passing through the area. Not sure if they have the bathrooms “closed” intentionally, but I’ve never seemed to find a functional men’s room. Definitely use the app, and you’ll get a great deal.”

“We enjoyed visiting the Mulberry so much. We started downstairs where we met Sydney who was very kind and helped us out not only with our visit but also taking the time to help us find somewhere to stay for the night. Then we ventured upstairs to visit the rooftop where we met Colin and Lexi who served us while we sat at the bar for a couple drinks and some appetizers. Colin was a joy to talk to and hear about all of the interesting things he’s done and is doing. We followed that up with dinner downstairs where we enjoyed the ribs and the French onion soup.”

“I love being here as a young female the staff are friendly and I can trust that I will be taken care of! I’m here for events like my 21st and date nights with my boyfriend it has ALWAYS been a fun, safe, and delicious experience! The beers on tap are always changing so I get a chance to learn what beers I like and try some ones I didn’t know I liked! Went from a cider only girl, to some sours, and some blonde ales! Not to mention the fun events and music bingo nights that are happening every other day!”

“We traveled to Washington for a day trip and happened to stop by the vendor market and Val’s Gourmet Baked Goods. Arthur was incredibly kind and made sure we were able to keep our desserts chilled on the drive home by providing a box and ice packs. “Great Eggs Benedict! We order it weekly and is constantly wonderful. Eggs are perfectly cooked. I am impressed with the wait staff, as they are friendly, patient and kind with the elderly and couples with babies. Coffee is better than the usual diner coffee. You know a place is good when you see the same people there week after week.”

Were a little disappointed, was husband and my anniversary, sharing with another couple . waiter came , all well received out drinks then our food . Food was delicious!! However our service was terrible …. He never came back and checked on us , no second wine or beer , another server refreshed our waters.. never took our plates up for a long while .. wanted to say something to manager but decide to not make a scene . Rest room was dirty no attention apparently all day ..building is really old but not very clean ….. that’s just not right in a restaurant supposedly to have ambience and gourmet food. Sanitation is a 90 . Still a A … but …. Been waiting to eat here a while . We live close in area .hate to be negative but here I am .. Best filet that’s a good thing !! 😊we just unfortunately got a bad waiter last night …….”

“We went to Down on Mainstreet for dinner while in Little Washington NC. Husband got Spicy Plum pork chops with French fries and coleslaw (large serving). I’m not a huge pork fan so I didn’t try it but he said it was delicious. I had the southern fried shrimp and it was fantastic, salt and pepper small/med shrimp came with fries but I switched to house made chips - fantastic! and coleslaw (again large serving). We were so glad we tried Down on Mainstreet and are already trying to decide when we can get back to Little Washington for another meal here.”
