Bearded Bee Brewing Company Brewery • $$
20 E Campen St, Wendell - 10.29 miles

“My husband and I went the other day and loved it! I had a beer slushy that was great. The bartender let me have a sample first. It was so refreshing! My husband had a Pilsner that he enjoyed. The physical facility was very clean. The bartender was so nice and helpful. I also purchased some really cute tee shirts. Unfortunately, we live across country so we won’t be back soon but did tell many Raleigh friends about it . We will add this to our must come back to list!“

JoCo Brewing Company Brewery • $$

“Not only does Jonny brew from the heart he lives his life leading with his heart, and it shows in everything that he does. The beer at Joco Brewing is amazing some of my favorite beers that I’ve ever had have come from his brewery so if you want a great beer, you definitely want to come but if you want to meet an all-around good person who makes great beer and gives back to the community in every way that he can…all the more reason for you to stop by. Life is about giving back and being a good person and Joco brewing shows that in everything they do so if you’ve never been I highly recommend it.“

Oak City Brewing Company Brewery • $$
616 N First Ave, Knightdale - 9.97 miles

“Okay local brewing fans in Knightdale, NC and the Triangle area this is a great place to come and wet your whistle and chill. Oak city has a good selection of brews both seasonal and a host of regulars. Sours, ales, lagers and stouts you’re likely to find what you’re craving here. Aside from some nice ac seating inside (which is limited) they have a covered section with picnic tables outdoors and a large grassy area for your camp chairs and the like. They host a lot of different activities here, and the St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Shuck is a local favorite. Beer, music and oysters galore as long as you buy an oyster ticket ahead of time as they are limited. Staff are great, beer is great, parking behind the brewery and good times galore. Check it out!“
