Restaurantji's guide to Clayton's top Mexican dining experiences.
“We have been here a few times before but today we had exceptional service our host Mariela was the most attentive. She checked up on us several times always with a smile. Loved her willingness to help ! This goes a long way. Thank you Mariela you deserve a raise!!!“
“Excellent food and service for our group of four. Staff was very attentive and we did not have to wait on refills. Quesadilla LaCocina has steak shrimp and chicken inside with peppers and onions and a guac/sour cream side salad. The protein was tenderand not overcooked. The seasoning was perfect. One of my favorites.“
“Best Mexican food in the area. Al pastor is great, tastes like Al pastor not bbq pork. Carne asada is also fantastic, tender and flavorful. Refried beans are also good. I enjoy their tacos, good street tacos. Definitely recommend, worth a drive out to Clayton.“
“Family vote was 3.9This was good, and I’m glad we went, but I’m not sure if we go again. The service was amazing and the people were very kind, but the food was just not my thing. I also was upset when they charged me $1.99 for a Styrofoam cup, which was for my daughter to have water with a lid. I don’t mind paying it, but it’s just shocking when restaurants add things to the bill but they’re not letting you know priorI’m happy this is joined our neighborhood, but it’s not worth the price point for us“
