“Not so sure why it took us this long to try out Casa Azul in Conover and we normally don’t go out of our way to do reviews, we just recommend through word of mouth but this is a restaurant definitely worth reviewing and a great review at that!! We LOVED it. Not only it’s so aesthetically pleasing from the bathroom all the way to the entrance 😍and has cute photo ops but the drinks were a 10/10 !! My husband got the regular mojito and I got the raspberry margarita.. can’t remember the exact name but they were so refreshing!! We then ordered the Parrillada Mexicana for two. Everything was so yummy & fully cooked through! All the meat was nice, tender & juicy! The elotes were amazing, the salsa was so flavorful & the Charro beans were just like we make them at home!! 10/10!! 🙌🏽🥰 our kids ordered an acp & quesadilla! Those plates were also very tasty too! 😋 We also LOVED that all the food came out super quick. We hardly had to wait and they were packed too. We were so surprised! Pricing wasn’t bad at all either, very reasonable. If you haven’t tried it out, definitely do so and make sure to get Vivianne as your waitress because she sure did help us pick out since we were having some trouble figuring out what we wanted. She delivered!! 👏👏 💖 although I’m sure anyone would be amazing because their staff were all so nice and welcoming! 🥰👍🏼”

“It was good, server was super cool, def great with people. I wish I could remember her name so she can get the recognition she deserves. She was mixed, mentioned she was going back to school. It was just her and a cool that also me toned it was his first day with his promotion to cook.

Everything was good my only complaint was the grill could have been cleaned a lot better for the amount of people and orders the were receiving (It was just us there at the time). The bacon was covered in the black grill cabon gunky stuff.”

The dining room is a bit lackluster, but the food and service more than make up for it. Give this place a try for something different made right.”

“I have been coming here for years especially on Thursdays and Fridays!! I will just say I have never had a bad experience while eating here!! The food is good but wanted to brag a little on the waitress Lindsay that seems to always be there when I eat. She is always busy either serving tables or answering that phone but always checks on everyone!!! Is always super nice when she is able to have a 2 min conversation. When she isn’t there I seem to have issues with getting drinks or my order is wrong but that won’t deter me from coming back!!”

“We happened upon fresh chef and decided to stop and try it. The service was amazing, atmosphere is great, food was AMAZING we had gumbo and shrimp with grits which is something that’s usually hit or miss most places, but they nailed it and we will definitely be back. “So, I'm in town for a food show and was looking for something quick for dinner. Strip mall Chinese is one of those things that you know what you're going to get when you order it. Same old same old. Boy was I surprised! I ordered General Tso's chicken. It came with fried rice and a spring roll. I also ordered a couple of egg rolls. It was truly the best I've ever had. The chicken was tender, moist and delicious and the sauce was excellent. The peppers, mushrooms and broccoli were crisp and full of flavor. The staff was a pleasure to deal with and I was out the door for $18 including the tip. My wife and I were stuffed after we finished. That's a bargain!!! My only regret is that they don't have a location less than 150 miles from my home. Well done folks! Well done!”

“Great taco truck in a good location. Food was very good. It's Probably the only taco truck in Conover as of now.

I ordered the carne asada burrito and the alcpastor tacos. Both were very good. The tacos are pretty large for taco trucks. The burrito was a fair size but it was also really good.

I'd recommend this place to everyone and will add this to my weekly takeout taco rotation.”
