“Awesome evening celebrating our 38th year of marriage! We were treated like royalty by our waitress, Loren, and had a spectacular dinner, starting with the Oyster Pairing flight oh, so fun! Thanks to all the staff who made our evening memorable! Highly recommend!“
“Our waitress Rachel was so friendly and genuine in her conversation. We didn't feel like just another table to be served. There was a teen birthday party near us and the place was hopping on a beautiful day in the 70's so it was pretty loud. Padded buffers inside the booths would likely help with this. They were out of the first2 things we tried to order so that was disappointing. We were seated at 1:15 so you might want to get there earlier for access to full menu. It's good to know if you have someone with mobility challenges: there were 2 handicap spaces fairly close to the front but all others were abit away. There is no way to drop off an elderly person fairly close to the door. Options are either quite a few stairs OR a long ramp. If there are other options, I didn't see it. The food was fresh and delicious and the menu was creative and thoughtful as compared to other places in the area. We were celebrating a birthday and received a thoughtful card but no discount or free dessert as with other places. Brunch specials change each week and they all sounded good.“

“I was on vacation with 3 other couples. we had a reservation on 8/22/25. Our server "Q" was great and did a wonderful job going over the specials and recommendations. The french onion soup was delicious. I am typically not a steak person, but decided to try the petite filet with garlic butter and the baked potato. It was phenomenal and I was very pleased with my choice. others got the ribs, lamb, lobster bisque, a plethora of sides, cheescake and lava cake....nothing was less than delicious. Bonus, I got engaged here as well“

“SO GOOD. Pineapple paloma was a delicious in cocktail to start the night. I wanted one of everything on the menu but we shared burrata, deviled eggs, pork belly buns and Brussels. holy cow everything was AMAZING. service was fantastic. Jovian was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly but not overbearing. we will definitely be back!“

“Really enjoyed going here for my birthday celebration. Staff was very nice. Waitress worked really hard considering it was a larger group. I had sushi. I sampled potsticker and chicken wrapped in lettuce. Very yummy. The decor is pleasant and relaxing for dinner.“

“We visited the new location on S. Tryon. First time visiting with a party of 16 and the experience was amazing! From host, manager, waitress Nicole everyone was awesome! The food and drinks were good. What a great way to celebrate my birthday!“

“Came in with a larger group and Sarah m was extraordinary!! She made so many amazing recommendations from salmon to the short rib and explained everything so well I definitely recommend coming to see her, she is so knowledgeable about the food she said she’s been here since they opened and has spent a lot of time learning and trying every item they have to offer.
The menu gives small descriptions about everything but she makes everything sound amazing!! I have been going to the south end location for so long but I think it’s time to make the switch to the birkdale location the bartenders are also super amazing, Carolyn and Shaneka (sorry if I spelt her name wrong) make the best drinks!!“

“Enjoyed a wonderful evening at your location with my husband a couple of weeks ago. Our server was Tatiana, she was professional yet warm and was knowledgeable without being over bearing, appreciated her input regarding our meal and beverage. “Ordered coffee, no one was letting anyone know their coffee was ready and could tell us what coffee was what. didn't look like any of the pic's on the page and was served is the smallest GLASS and got cold fast.“
