Committed to local business, this is a community hub with art, music, local food & produce, fresh flowers, and more than I could possibly list - no pets allowed in market though there is an artist craft market in the same area that does welcome pets. The produce is located in a covered pavilion safe from sun/rain but the rest of the market is uncovered. Free parking lot within walking distance and near a park!“

“I've been eating Indian food from restaurants for years. I'm picky! India Gate's food is excellent. When I visit friends near there, we often get their food. We like it so much that we chose them to prepare all the food for an upcoming big party that we will be hosting. I recommend them!“

“First time and from out of town stumbled on this ice cream shop and must say one of the best hot fudge sundaes I’ve had in long time. Got the vanilla/ cookies n cream flavor. Hot Fudge was real deal ice cream was air tight dense so good. Tasted like premium top grade cream curious to know if ice cream uses eggs in it.“

“We were there for a dog adoption event and I decided to try one of their ciders. I got the Tart Cherry Cider and it was really good. The location is great, but the parking is somewhat challenging to find. I love that they had a lot of ciders, since I have Celiac and am gluten free. But I would love it if some of their beer offerings were also gluten free/gluten reduced.

The space itself is awesome. They have a large game room with a pool table and arcade games, that one of my teenagers really gravitated towards.

And the dog adoption event with Freedom Ride Rescue was great! So many lovable dog options, from young to old, and the fosters were very knowledgeable about the temperament and backstory of each one. Overall, a great experience!“

“One of my favorite weekend breakfast spots. Wonderful food, friendly service.

I'm pretty much a creature of habit so I have quiche and sliced tomatoes, but the folks I eat with get the avocado toast with crispy bacon, the chicken biscuit, the rise and shine breakfast, and the lemon ricotta pancakes. All outstanding meals. We do have one friend who always gets cake for breakfast.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. I love coming here for Sunday mornings.“

“Best burger ever! Seriously. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. You're off to a great start when they make a point of asking how you want your burger cooked. And it's seriously good. The pickle chips are delicious as well! If you're in Durham, do yourself a favor and grab a burger!“

“The guy taking customer orders (could be the manager) was very pleasant. The food was good. There were refills on fountain drinks while dining in. The handles for turning water on and off were missing in the women's restroom but were available in the men's restroom (where I ended up washing my hands).“

“Really enjoyed my vegetable stew and home made bread at Ninth Street Bakery! They have a large selection of loaves and baked goods to bring home too. The staff members were kind and open in order to help me to find what I wanted. They have a great outdoor patio space where you can enjoy some fresh air while you eat your food!

I brought home the French Sourdough Loaf, the Stollen and Orange Almond Biscotti, and so far have been really enjoying all of them!“

“We received the best service from Mariah this Sat. It was a party of 25 guests, she serviced use with 100% customer service. the food was great and we were leaving a funeral which was a bad day for all, we left feeling a littler lighter, due to the our server. She is a GEM.“

People kept coming up to us afterward commenting on the cake. We did an at-home cake tasting and phone consultation beforehand. The cakes were delicious, and everyone was super professional.
