If you have 3 hours and want to get a behind the scene experience of the beer making process every step of the way from water and grains and ending with finished product in packaging, this is the tour for you. The tour guide Mary did a great job explaining the process and answering questions. Additionally, all the employees we encoutered along the way were very friendly and showed great pride in their company and the immaculate Mills River facility!“

“Popped in w/o reservation on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Though just opened from the devastation of Helene, the food was fresh and hot to the table with a very short wait. We both had samplers. one sausage and the other a schnitzel variety. The entree and sides were delicious. We lived in Germany for seven years and the food was spectacularly authentic, even down to the broetchen in the bread basket, crunchy on the outside and softly chewy inside. If you like real-deal German food, make a reservation today. Sehr gute geschmeckt!“

“So I’ve been avoiding this place thinking it was a chain , after many disappointing meals at Gypsy queen(used to love them they went down hill, and holy moly what a dirty kitchen) I decided to try Mr. Kabab, and I was not disappointed in the least bit. After talking with the owner you can tell he has a passion for his home food. He was a chef In the Middle East and everything is home made and hand made. Even his grape leaves take 10 hours to make. This is the best middle eastern food in town hands down… I wish he would change the storefront to better represent his quality of food. !!! “Food was very good. I just have too say they charged us a $4.65 kitchen fee. Well I wasn’t having it. When the manager came over he said it’s optional. If it is they should have disclosed that information before they put it on my bill. I think it’s wrong. Never heard of such a fee.

“ive tried several things while at the foosball tournaments every Saturday night! nachos are amazing! their smashburgers was so good!!!! their mozzarella sticks are HUGE!!!!! and so good!!!!!! but my #1 favorite thing is their fish and chips!!! oh my gosh, you get a good thick breading and its not "fishy" tasting! and the tartar sauce kinda reminded of a tartar ranch because the dill in it! its so good!!! 10 out of 10!“

“Some of the best pizza in Asheville and the best staff!!! FYI this is NOT affiliated with Asheville Brewing Co on Merrimon Ave or Coxe Ave. The pizza here is SOOOOOO much better, so make sure you don’t get them confused. I almost didn’t go because I’ve had ABC pizza and been disappointed so many times I stopped going but this place absolutely slaps!! Their pizza of the month is always worth a trip!“

“Our choices for Asian cuisine in WNC are very limited. Fortunately, P.F. Changs is only 25 minutes away, with an interesting menu that (tonight) was fresh and delicious. Crab Wonton is our go-to appetizer, but we also enjoyed the BBQ spare ribs. Kung Pao chicken and pepper steak were our entrees. They also had a delicious and smoky Asian Old Fashioned cocktail, which we recommend.“

My favorite was the shoots and blossoms salad… people are still telling me how amazing the food was and was the best food they had had at a catered event. Black Bear has a diverse menu to offer and it was very upscale. Don’t skip out on Black Bear BBQ for your catered event!“
