“Recently, my family and I were in Smithfield for about 5 weeks and The Gilded Pear was recommended and became a second home to us for lunch and the greatest coffee. It was the best recommendation ever! The ladies who waited on us, the cook, the staff, were so helpful and friendly. They knew we were from out of town and made us feel so at home and welcome every day. The lunches we had were so good and the baked potato salad so yummy, I sometimes just ordered that; the pumpkin and cinnamon muffins finished it off. Gilded Pear, thank you all!!!“

“Hidden gem! This place is a nonprofit located inside the medical mall of Smithfield across from the hospital. They use actual eggs on a grill to make breakfast sandwiches (not microwaved). They help people with accessibility by providing jobs and helping adults learn skills for independence. Very friendly staff, lovely baked goods and sandwiches.“

“Plenty of options at this food hall! Cuban, BBQ, hot dogs, tacos, and more to enjoy. Something here for everyone and a great spot at the Selma and Smithfield area. Plenty of parking outside and seating inside but also plenty of options for to go food.“

“Went through the drive through to get a bunch of munchkins and donuts for my son's class. The women working the drive through were very friendly. My toddler was upset in the back which made it hard to hear and the women was very patient & kind, very different experience from a similar situation I've had at the one on 42. Would definitely recommend going to this location instead. My son's class enjoyed their munchkins & donuts“
