“when my now husband and i discussed marriage, i had already known the place i wanted to get married was the Inn on Pamlico Sound. he asked me to marry him Memorial Day weekend 2024, and we booked them as our venue the next weekend. Steve and Meredith and their team remained in constant communication with us regarding every detail, question we had, vendor choices, etc. the dinner options were so hard to choose from but we ultimately decided on the taco bar - because, tacos, duh! we had the chipotle chicken, ground beef, and blackened catch of the day which ended up being mahi mahi. i’ve never been so hype to eat tacos in my life, everything was amazing! and then the home made tortilla chips and salsa just added icing to the cake! everything was delicious and was served hot and ready as our guests were seated - it wasn’t sitting in warming bins just waiting for the ceremony to be over. not only is the venue itself beautiful and stands out, the food and staff made our experience and our guests’ experience truly unforgettable. my husband and i currently live on hatteras island and we will definitely be doing our anniversary dinners at Cafe Pamlico, and i’m already looking forward to it!!! thank you Steve, Meredith, and all staff involved in our day! you all worked your tails off to make everything come together and we so appreciate yall!“

“Very nice Marina. Neat to watch the ferries come in and watch the coast guard vessels leave and return. Nice parking lot and set up. Bathrooms are always very very dirty which I assume that’s from people from the ferry not using the ferry terminal bathrooms instead..“

When we arrived they were closed. Traveling by some other nights, it was still closed. Maybe the offseason messes with the hours of operation.“

Also grabbed a side of sweet potato fries. OMHeavens were they crisp and tasty. Staff and service are superior going above and beyond in taking care of everyone in the place and keeping the shop and even the parking lot outside immaculate.“

“LOVE this dive bar! Small place with a great selection of seafood and drinks! Lives the atmosphere! All the locals make you feel welcome! Cool decor and clean. The servers/bar tenders are great!

“This is a great spot for any type of grilled creation you can think of. During our week on Hatteras island we had the ramp 55, the chopped cheese, and the island burger. All were excellent and pretty surprising for a small spot in front of the ferry. Definitely recommend. Also met the owner who really cares about the product he's making and his customers' experiences. He let me try a future menu item, and it was ridiculously good.“

“We had their pizza one night and it was amazing. We returned the following night and ate in. Ceasar salad, Italian sub, fettuccine Alfredo, ham and cheese sub and fries were amazing too. Their prices are great too. My only complaint would be they close at 8:30 PM, but that is the normal for the area.“

“Love it. Reminded me of a restaurant here in Aberdeen Md called Lo Tolteca. Though I must say that their El Diablo sauce for the Shrimp dish they have was hotter than the one in MD. Music, food, drinks, and service was great. I was a little disappointed because they ran out of flan. But nothing they couldn't do, because obviously its just that darn good. Our server was very attentive and friendly. 100% would dine in again, if I'm in the area again.“
