“Despite coming in on a whim on a Saturday at 430, I was able to get seated quickly and the waiter appeared soon after.
The food was served quickly and while I had the chefs board, so nothing was cooked, the crostini was crisp and the baguette nicely warmed. I was getting a bourbon flight so I appreciated that there were 2 types of cheese, breads and meats along with spicy pickled vegetables, a kicking Dijon mustard and a sweet preserve. So all in all nice variety.
My waiter was attentive without being annoying, and despite sitting indoors it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. The patio looked nice too I just wanted a chair not a bench.
The whiskey/bourbon menu was extensive featuring American, Scottish, Irish and Japanese options. They also have a section, flight and Wednesday discount for NC distillers.
I definitely go back to try something else, both alcohol and food.“

“I love the owner and employees at Iyla’s (so friendly, always so down to earth)— their Mac’n’cheese is to die for. Their chicken tenders are huge!! And if you want a treat please try the barbecue sundae (collards, Mac, BBQ all stacked up!). I wake up in the middle of the night and crave their mac’n’cheese— you gotta try it!!“

“My husband dropped off my mother and I at the front door. I entered the restaurant and asked for a table for three. The extremely rude hostess/ast. manager told we would have to wait for my husband to arrive before seating us. There I stand with my mother who has Parkinson and dementia having to wait before getting seated. I kid you not when we finally got seated it was literally 7 steps to our table that was vacant the entire wait. Big Ed's isn't ADA friendly. Avoid this restaurant!!“
“For NCSU graduate lunch- Bill and staff treated us as 🐺family from our first reservation request. Communication was clear and totally invested in making our day perfect. From the delicious food to the custom Wolf Tracks ice cream order and of course the epitome of NCSU landscaping- it was beyond expectations.“

“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“Really enjoyed the brisket nachos- solid flavor everytime. The quesadillas are huge! We also ordered the guac this time (usually go for the chips & queso) and while it tasted fresh it was missing the heat factor I’m used to. Be aware- there are no open restrooms! When we asked where we could wash hands/ change our baby’s diaper we were told to go across the street to the public park restrooms.“
