“I've only been here for breakfast twice (looking forward to trying their lunch menu)The biscuits are amazingThe pancakes are crazy goodStaff is really nice. Prices are very affordable.I did get a small loaf of something to go home and it tasted like soap. So I don't recommend that. Seems like maybe someone put lotion in the batter by accident or something? Unsure. But really, other than that really good! I'll be back for sure.Parking: Easy peasy parking situation“

“EDIT: I have not dined there since the new chef took over and at this time I have no plans to. The review is as it was when Chef Isaiah Allen helmed the bridge. This is the only place in Saxapahaw that I will dine out at. Most importantly to me on an ethical level, they care about their employees. That shows in the care of service and in the love of the food that comes to my table.I very much enjoy going in here and having a wonderful meal, something that is good for me, in the company of an area that just to reminds me of a community gathering center. There is no restaurant or establishment in my opinion in the area that does a better job.Not that I know how these things work but it is my wish that one day Chef Isaiah receives a Michelin star for what he does at this place. Hands down the best!“

“Cute simple soda shop that looks like you walked back into the 60s. The food was great! I got the double cheeseburger with tater tots. The patties are a good size. I couldn't finish the burger, a single would have been enough. The tots were perfectly done and crispy. The onion rings were delicious! My daughters got the blue moon sandwich which was ok. The fries were standard. The young waitresses were very pleasant and helpful.Parking: There are a limited amount of spaces in front of the shop in downtown Graham, but usually you can find at least one open.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with grilled cheese and hotdog option.Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the first floor. The shop is small but should be able to be accessible. They do have booth tables where one side has chairs, so a wheelchair can pull up to it.“

Wait times can be a little long, but getting there for an early lunch usually helps. The store always has local products for sale. Staff is always very friendly. We keep going back.“

“The service was prompt, the food was fast and hot. I had the Twin Hot Dog Basket with mustard and chili. The chili was thick and meaty-excellent- fries were hot and crispy. On the downside I like mustard on the table which they did not have. Also, I would like to see a wider selection of diet fountain drinks, only diet Pepsi was available. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu items.Parking: Downtown Graham parking availability varies widely by time of day.“

“This place is a time capsule. You walk in and the first thing you notice is the architecture and memorabilia. The food tastes great and seniors will say, "This tastes like how they used to make food" (with love of course). They always play iHeart Radio 50's and their speakers are decently loud but not too loud. The cheese sticks must be hand-breaded in the back because the flavor is always fresh. They have fair prices around the same as fast food but everything tastes like it could be from Olive Garden or Ruby Tuesdays. They offer malts which many places have stopped making. If you crave a specific flavor of ice cream there's a whit's across the road. The round'a'bout is clearly visible and many people who have custom cars drive through here which adds to the overall experience. On the other side of the restaurant, there are memorabilia related to firefighters and police officers. The connection to the town is what sets this apart from other places. These two things are what really keep the soul of the 50's ever-present and wouldn't work in a chain restaurant. That's why this place is unique compared to the memorabilia in Zaxby's, it actually means something to the local people. The waiters and waitresses are always kind and timely. They pay attention more and make sure the job is done right. As a former waiter, this hits close to home. Other places will have staff who are not very authentic or who don't care about their job. At this place, waiters feel personable and genuine. The thing that I don't think a lot of people realize is that they also do pick-up and delivery. Look on there website and they have a portal which allows you to order online or just call them and you can place an order that way. I've never used it before but I see a lot of people getting pick up when I go in to eat.If you didn't already know this, Graham Soda Shop also has good relations with Graham Cinema and have done deals in the past to get tickets at Graham Cinema. They used to have a birthday package I believe but I never asked about it.Parking: The round'a'bout is usually full at busy times like at dinner and lunch on the weekends. It's much better to come in from East Elm Street to find more parking spaces. There is also a parking lot nearby at the strip mall with dollar general.“
