“Went for breakfast and it was one of the best McDonald's experiences I have ever had. The ordering kiosk actually worked as intended, and the food came out very quickly. Of course the food was the usual McDonald's food, decent but nothing spectacular. But you get fast food for the convenience, and it was very quick and convenient this time around, which is something fast food has been straying away from in recent years.“

“We decided to stop here over Starbucks while on vacation this past week. Best decision! The iced coffee was delicious. There are so many flavor options and non-dairy options to choose from. Friendly staff and great location. The prices are also unbeatable. I highly recommend stopping in!“

“We have been getting Duck donuts here at the original store since 2011. Yesterday I went in to get our first order of the vacation week. We always vacation last week of August and it usually includes my son’s bday. He’ll be 17 on Saturday and heads off to college in a year. We told him we will pause OBX next summer since we don’t know exactly where he’ll go to college. I literally cried ordering my donuts yesterday to the owner and how much Duck OBX has met to our family memories for 13 years! Duck is all about traditions to us. Sunrise, sunsets, crabbing, and of course Duck Donuts! We have loved watching this business turn in to a national franchise. What a beautiful success story. 🍩 🍩🍩🍩“

“Went here one year when two other breakfast plans fell through and we were so glad we did! Great coffee, great doughnuts and sandwiches, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Despite being a bit of a drive from Pine Island, we come here at least twice when we're in the OBX. Highly recommend.“

“A normal Starbucks that you see inside other large stores. This one is right inside the front entrance of Harris Teeter. The menu is a bit limited as a result of not being its own location. There was an understandable issue with an item we ordered, and it was the last of that item. The worker got us a refund, but they were a little bit snippy about it.“

“Best donuts we have ever had! We went in the week after Dougie opened, arrived at 9:30 am and he was almost sold out….after only being open for 3 hours! We even stopped on our way home to grab a Dougie Dozen to take with us. If you’re in the area, you HAVE to getcha some. I just can’t say enough about these donuts and the awesome crew he has working there. AMAZING!!!!“
