“We have been getting Duck donuts here at the original store since 2011. Yesterday I went in to get our first order of the vacation week. We always vacation last week of August and it usually includes my son’s bday. He’ll be 17 on Saturday and heads off to college in a year. We told him we will pause OBX next summer since we don’t know exactly where he’ll go to college. I literally cried ordering my donuts yesterday to the owner and how much Duck OBX has met to our family memories for 13 years! Duck is all about traditions to us. Sunrise, sunsets, crabbing, and of course Duck Donuts! We have loved watching this business turn in to a national franchise. What a beautiful success story. 🍩 🍩🍩🍩“

“Best donuts we have ever had! We went in the week after Dougie opened, arrived at 9:30 am and he was almost sold out….after only being open for 3 hours! We even stopped on our way home to grab a Dougie Dozen to take with us. If you’re in the area, you HAVE to getcha some.
