“We have been getting Duck donuts here at the original store since 2011. Yesterday I went in to get our first order of the vacation week. We always vacation last week of August and it usually includes my son’s bday. He’ll be 17 on Saturday and heads off to college in a year. We told him we will pause OBX next summer since we don’t know exactly where he’ll go to college. I literally cried ordering my donuts yesterday to the owner and how much Duck OBX has met to our family memories for 13 years! Duck is all about traditions to us. Sunrise, sunsets, crabbing, and of course Duck Donuts! We have loved watching this business turn in to a national franchise. What a beautiful success story. 🍩 🍩🍩🍩“

His staff all had smiles, and the time we spent from walking in until the time we got back to our car, we were all so excited and feeling grateful for the opportunity to come into this location. My kids (6+4) loved the ability to take their time and “design” their own donuts. They were able to take their time and make the careful decisions of what kind of frosting, drizzles, and toppings they wanted on each one. 10/10 experience for us - and we will be back!“
