But, the food was good and the service was fast. I really had no complaints. They have a kids menu so my daughter was able to get her normal chicken and fries.

“Met my boyfriend for our first date here 3 years ago. Just recently moved back to this area, was looking for a chill coffee spot. Went here once by myself. Neat spot, good atmosphere. We sat inside. The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.“

Two small issues - 1) the booth we were seated at was a bit warm for 2 in our party - very still air. 2) Flat percentage tipping recommendations on the payment terminal screen includes sales tax. Just a heads up for those who only tip on food & drink.“

“Hello! My wife and I have just started coming to the Side Street Pour House and I have to give credit where credit is due because this place is phenomenal. Me and my wife are building our house in Blowing Rock and we’re small businesses owners and so I always watch how things are flowing in fellow restaurants. I know as a business owner we get busy and sometimes we tend to not let our employees know how great they’re doing enough Raven S has served us at the bar for the past couple times we’ve been in and that little lady knows what she is doing. I watched her make 5 cocktails back to back so quickly. She’s attentive to all her patrons and jokes around with everyone. I told her to come be my bar manager at our new location coming to Blowing Rock :D This is a great place and I’m glad we checked it out!“

“Oh yeah, great takeout and very friendly cashiers. Reckon why there is almost always an Asian food joint next to the Food Lions in our area? I love it. Order my food go next door and grab a kort of milk or some grapes then go back and get my take out. 2 birds within throwing distance. Speaking of birds that chicken from Jasmines is pretty good with the sesame seeds and such. And the shrimp sauce y'all think is so Asian is nothing but an American idea. So before getting too uppity on the sauce have them learn you how to use 3 chopsticks from now on.But this place has a right smart variety and they take just enough time to get the food right so as you're not waiting half a day to eat. I sure wish they had beef and tomatoes. I don't reckon I see much tomato in the Asian diet.Anyways I would recommend this place if it is up to me.

Vegetarian options: They have a bunch of vegetables and rice dishes but they might use same wok as the meat dishes so some vegetablarians might get red butted over this.

Parking: Big parking lot as it shares with the Food Lion.“

“My husband and I are “foodies” and we absolutely LOVE the Vintage House in Hickory. We would rank this restaurant as one of the top in NC. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. “I grew up around whataburger and it's a hit or miss, however this one in hickory by far has been one of the cleanest and better service provided by far. The owners of the restaurant are very kind and hardworking no doubt! 100% would recommend to anyone to stop in for their buffet or take one of their meals to-go. Learned about the restaurant by fulfilling a few DoorDasher orders for their customers and stepping into the restaurant each time smelled SO good. My favorites were their spring rolls, honey chicken, and the crab rangoon! Top notch. I'm originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and recently moved to Lenoir. From where I come from, there is China Town and tons of Chinese restaurants. In my honest opinion, this one here in Lenoir is one of the very best I have ever had!!“

“I decided to stop in to grab a cold brew during a grocery run on Saturday 5/17/25 around 12:30 in the afternoon. Per normal, the Target Starbucks line was rather long, but I was luckily shopping kid free that day and in no rush to scurry back home, so I waited patiently (all the mamas understand). I would guesstimate I waited between 10-15 minutes and the entire time only one person was working, a very tall, dark haired man. I wish I had gotten his name because I would love to give him the biggest shout out! The whole time I was in line I watched him seamlessly take multiple orders and make their drinks all in a line like a bar tender. He never messed up, never faltered, and pumped out coffee to the masses like a pro. You know how us white girls can get about our sugar flavored drinks, and he met every single one of us in line with a big smile and welcomed greeting. He held polite conversations as he worked and even made sure each person got their correct order handed directly to them, instead of just slamming them on the counter for you to find. I'm not sure where you found them gem of a gentleman, but during the time I was there, he made each and every person feel like their order was important and even the grumpiest Karen seemed to leave in a better mood (that may have also been because they finally got their caffeine fix for the day). He made sure when taking your order you didn't miss anything, and would double check to make sure you have everything you want when he handed off the goods. He'd even offer to fix your drink if you have any issues. I know it's stressful being the only one working (I'm hoping there was a coworker on break and Starbucks didn't just fail this man by having him work alone on a Saturday), and I hope he knows how amazing he is to take a deep breath, grit his teeth, and keep on pushing through as if nothing was the matter. I don't even know if my cold brew tasted good or not because the only flavor I could taste was pride. Whoever his mama is, should be proud.“

Parking: Plenty of parking. Now exiting the parking lot can sometimes be a hassle would be helpful if they would open a 2nd exit onto hwy 321.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is 2 wheelchair access points on the side walk along with adequate wheelchair seating in doors.“

“We live next to a Taco Bell by a certain baseball stadium in town.

We purposely drive to this one that’s 15 minutes further because the night crew is very fast, never had a mistake with an order, and including the drive back, it would still be faster than the one closest to us. Y’all rule 🥲“

“i went there and their drink machine was messed up. i reported it trying to help and the cashier said others had reported the drinks being messed up also. an older lady that I assume was the manager comes out with the rudest most unprofessional attitude. she literally took a cup and announced "carbonation" then dumped it out then did this over and over for the whole machine instead of just tasting the problem. manager or not rude, lazy employee. not going back to pack $16+ dollars just to have an employee make a scene at the drink machine they wanna charge $3 for. keep your rotten attitudes and overpriced crap I feel bad for the young people working there if that's how things go in front of customers“
