“I like this bar & grill as an occasional visit spot. Good food and beer selection. Good sports bar/hangout atmosphere. The service can generally be okay, but 1 bartender really needed to suck it up and be less attitudinal and impatient with another patron on the last visit. As a witness to the whole situation, she definitely was not being hospitable or attentive to some patrons. I get it. All of us have stressful days, but you have to leave it behind for each new customer and show your best face because it isn't for you (other than tips) but for the business.“

“Ebony and her staff are great! Everything was communicated down to where guests would enter and exit when getting food. She acknowledged and stuck to dietary restrictions when it came to the food. Not only did they take care of the food and serving, but they saw how we were struggling to get everything together. They jumped right in to help ❤️. They came early to make sure the food was setup and ready to go. Gather was a big part of my parents’ 30th anniversary. Ebony did not disappoint! Thank you!“

“Food was amazing, it was inexpensive. They only had like 2 waitresses for the 15-20 tables so service wasn’t as good as it could have been because she was rushed. But she was a great waitress. The atmosphere was okay, a lot of sports designs and tv’s. Food did take a while to come out but was worth the wait!“

“Five stars for the food and the portions are way... more than what you pay for, always fresh. Awesome taste. Don Felix is the a great chef. Now the bar portion of this establishment is trashy, they have the music so loud the speakers start distorting the sound. I give that a -1“

“The food was pretty good. Authentic Mexican. The salsa for the nachos was really good and little spicy,which was a nice touch. The steak quesadilla was delicious and filling. And the gorditas were good as well. Food is fresh and made to order. One nice addition was that they have glass bottles of Coke and sprite made in Mexico. My only complaint was that service was a little slow,but the waitress was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this for authentic Mexican. I look forward to returning.“

“I was surprised at how good the food was! Really enjoyed the salmon and fried cauliflower. And that bread pudding is something else.

Service was great! Wish I remember her name at the bar. She was super attentive and overall a lovely person.“

“Absolutely amazing! In town for work, and have had Lunch and Dinner here every day. Tried the burgers, the chicken club, the bacon cheddar dog, the Day After sandwich, with fries every time and there hasn’t been a single thing that wasn’t DELICIOUS! Ashlea and Kimberly are awesome! Top of the line service, very kind, welcoming, great conversation, seemed like they knew what you needed before you even asked! 11/10, We’ll be back for dinner before leaving town tomorrow. Sometimes a bad experience can show you how good someone is. When we came to eat we were in a hurry so that we could get kids in bed. The host wasn’t at the front so a waiter came by and started getting us seated. I would later find out that he was the on duty manager as well.

Order our food upon meeting waitress since we were in a hurry while we waited on second half the party to arrive.

Other party came and they placed order maybe 15 mins later.

Waitress came back and said our original order never got put in. Not a huge deal but I could feel time escaping. We reordered.

Food took awhile to get to us but nothing crazy. Unfortunately a plain burger ordered for a picky child eater was slathered in mustard and mayo. Waitress took it back and put in order for correct burger.

The burger didn’t come for 30 mins which now put us about 90 mins in and way past what we could afford since we were in town for the Junior Olympics. Tried to find waitress to get check but couldn’t find her.

I went up front and the same guy that greeted us asked me how it went. I explained my frustration and he let me know that he was the manager and would make it right by removing the burger from the tab. He also explained how to pay the check at the kiosk on the table.

I went to my table to pay my tab and found that he removed 2 meals and then stopped by to apologize.

Working in food/service is rough. I appreciate him extending an olive branch to make my night better after it was evident that I was rushing with my mind other places.

I hope the GM reads this looks up who was managing that night as he did great. He was serving, keeping an eye on front, and took initiative.“
