Finally got to swing through the (double) drive thru on a visit home tonight. Tenders were fried just past done, a little bit lighter than what I would consider 5 stars. Nevertheless, it's been 2 years since I last had canes and this scratched the itch!
One of my favorite chicken joints. The Cane's Sauce is very good 👍. The service is always fast and consistent due to the simplified menu.

The atmosphere has some personality, though some tables and parts of the floor are kinda dirty. The food receives mixed feedback: chicken strips are cooked well but average in taste, tenders can be fried just past done, fries are crinkle cut and nothing special, and sometimes the fries are not salted and the chicken is flavorless. The sauce helps, and the slaw, bread, and sweet tea are good. The average price for a combo is around $10-15, which is very affordable. Some prefer another chain for more menu variety and better prices, but for those who love a simple, streamlined menu with quick chicken tenders and toast, Raising Cane's is definitely the place.
