“Everything about that place was amazing! Our service was the best thank to Briannica!!!!! It's a must go and we will be returning.”

“Love the food, and definitely root for this place; went for dinner with a large party and there were only a few tables taken, so it wasn't busy. But it took over 20 minutes to get our first round of 3 drinks, then I don't know how long for our meals. Suffice to say we were there for over 2 hours before we got the check; yes we had apps which added time, but in general I think the service should be a bit more snappy as well as the kitchen. Also it was too cold inside - maybe 68 degrees? Other than that the drinks and food were good! The cheesecake was the best in Greenville; not too moist (NY style) with amazing fruit compote on top.

Oh and the prices are, well, pricey so it also comes down to value for price paid. Lots of dishes in the high $20's”

“Hubby wanted Blooming Onion; but we had trepidation at eating at this location based on prior experiences (before current proprietor). We were VERY pleasantly surprised. We had minimal wait even though host said they had been “crazy busy” and expected more large groups shortly. Pressley, our waitress, was prompt, professional, communicated well, was attentive (without attitude) when I asked to talk to manager before ordering (due to food allergies) as well as throughout our meal and getting us out, even offering to-go beverages. Alyssa, the manager on duty was awesome discussing food preparation and easily reassured me, as well as supervised/assisted in kitchen. We initially saw her cleaning dining area, not knowing that she was manager, as entire staff was working as team and well oiled machine to assure a really clean dining area, as well as restrooms. My hubby got his Blooming Onion and 1/2 rack smoked ribs and could not stop with glowing praise for his meal. I had Alice Springs Chicken that was even better than I had at one of my favorite Outback locations last week for our anniversary! Overall, restaurant sound was quiet enough for us to talk to each other easily, despite large family groups & TVs in bar. Staff’s demeanor was calm and upbeat making dining experience quite pleasurable. Never expected to be writing this 5star review today; So, keep up the good job manager Alyssa!”

“First time coming here for our best friend's birthday celebration. And omg! The sushi was absolutely amazing and very decent price for an all-you-can-eat. Marley, I believe that was her name; was just on point with service. From bringing our drinks, taking our orders, clearing our table from the empty plates we kept accumulating and to ordering more entrées that we wanted to try. The staff was also very great in bringing our dishes. Still though, the food is incredibly delicious!”

“I really hope this place does well and stays here. A friend and I enjoyed the food very much, and the entire staff was welcoming, accomodations, and sweet. The place is on 10th street, across from Villa Verde, which is a location that has a high turnaround, however, my friend and I were absolutely blown away. The free ceviche con crispy tortilla was so fresh and delicious. They have chips and salsa too, if you want, and the salsa is top notch. Our main courses were terrific 10/10. We both hope this place stays here forever.”

Don’t pretend ro be a upper scale restaurant with McDonald’s equipment. You need to be better than that. Our server was great! No complaints there. She was attentive and eager to supply excellent customer service. The host however, needs to be retrained. Rattling of something over your shoulder while escorting customers to their table is unprofessional and disrespectful. All I heard was the specials are then gibberish. Some customers are hard of hearing. Step up and address customers eye to eye.”

“Homage catered a birthday party for my mother and a friend 3 weeks ago and the experience could not have been better. The menu was creative and the food was excellent. Matt Cole and his team were professional, organized, thoughtful and followed through on every detail we’d planned.

The event was approx 160 people and everyone is still raving about the food and the service. I can’t recommend highly enough.”

“1st off, this isn't Donatos Pizza it's Red Robin. Second, my review is a very different one compared to previous times of being here. The food was off. So, maybe a different chef. The waiter was not good at all. He took our order and didn't bring out the 1st of 2 appetizers we ordered. When I asked him a good 10 minutes later, if the app was coming out, he said, "Yes, let me go see. Then, someone else came out to ask if we wanted the app since we canceled it previously. Which, of course, we didn't cancel it at all. So, that was already a miss. Then, after waiting even more time, our food came up. He seemed to offer to get drinks refilled or more fries, which all was great. We don't know if he was having an off, not, or maybe he had a lot of tables. We were busy talking, so we didn't see how many tables he served. It's all good. The food was off, totally not their norm. We normally have a great experience at Red Robin. We drive over 30 minutes away to eat here because of their food and service.”

“It's a busy place, you don't need a reservation. The only thing I don't like is that they put everyone at a single table together with more tables and places available. I understand that it is because the cook prepares the food in front of you but at least there should be space between diners. The prices are somewhat high but it is understood that it is because of the show of the cook in front of you to prepare the food. Plus he talks and makes you laugh. Yes I recommend it but it is not a place to go every day.”

“We started not to go here due to the negative reviews. At the recommendation of a friend we went anyways. Have to say glad we decided to. The place seemed pretty busy, we had maybe 8 people ahead of us. We were in and out in about 10-15 minutes and the cookies were phenomenal. Highly recommend going here.”

“So I really liked Mission, but there are a few things to consider. The sides are very small and missing some staples. The brisket has a good taste, but its still tough....sadly nowhere out here can do good brisket. Out of all places around here its still the better brisket I have tried so far. Pulled pork is good, but there is other places that do it better (skyline). Where this place shines is the atmosphere and the people. Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with them while waiting for the food.”

I’m literally holding my ears when trying to place an order. I wish they would just turn the music down where we can hear and it’s not disturbing. It’s sad that the manager would not turn it down. “Contrary to pictures in previous reviews, there is no more dinning indoors, only a walk up window to order. There are a couple of picnic tables under a large oak tree to sit and eat after you’ve gotten your food. Most people ordered their food To-Go. The line waiting to order tells you B’s has a loyal following. The unassuming building and seasoned smoke shack adjacent are quintessential of Eastern NC BBQ joints. The menu is short and inexpensive (BBQ sandwich, BBQ plate, Smoked chicken, and a few sides to choose from). I recommend a couple of sandwiches with slaw. My buddy ordered the BBQ plate with two sides. He said the sides were “ok”, nothing spectacular, and the corn bread sticks were amazingly hard. The slaw was perfect - not too sweet, not too tangy. Had B’s been our only stop on our BBQ adventure, we would’ve been satisfied, it was a good experience, but there are other BBQ joints nearby with better Que. If I just wanted a good BBQ sandwich, B’s could be my go-to spot.”

Ari A. was the B-ES-T, as soon as I walked in the door she popped, literally from behind the counter and asked "How can I help you? I knew what I wanted, this is/was my 3rd time here. Steak Sandwich, Wow!! Absolutely the best! While waiting she brought my (to-go) drink to me, and minutes, like about 4 I had my cheesy delicious Steak sandwich with grilled onions, peppers and muchrooms (otherwise known as 'All The Way). Recommend the Onion rings as a side to your combo, it's only a buck. Ari provided great service in little time while maintaining professional enthusiasm. Service in other places is really questionable these days. Ari had the where with all to do it all. Thanks, Ari. I'll get a photo next time”

It took bit longer than I expected for them to make my food, but once I ate it I realized why as it was really good and tasted very fresh! So it was worth it! I was given a sample of the milk tea also, and it was very tasty! I’m not really a tea drinker of any kind, but I like trying new things and I’m glad I did! The staff were super friendly. They were so kind, and you could tell they cared about giving me a good experience which is getting to be a rare character trait. I forgot to ask for no oregano on my pizza and I didn’t exactly get the experience I was going for this time 😔. We still ate it (but didn’t finish it like we usually do) because the oregano was in the middle of the pie, (meaning it was mostly at the tip of the slice). I just have to remember to ask next time. “Google reviews led me to this wonderful restaurant and I’m so grateful! We live in New Bern, but Mom had a Drs appointment at ECU Monday afternoon. We were hungry and wanting a good sit down meal before we drove back in the rain. It was super close to ECU, good parking, which was nice since it was raining lol! You walk in and are immediately faced with rows of their multi-layered decadent cakes, I can’t adequately describe what an OMG view those masterpieces are! And I have to say their tartar sauce was house made and totally on point! It had the perfect amount of dill. Our sides, everything was delicious! “I visit wasabi88 often and I’ve never had a bad experience. I came in this past Wednesday and WOW. I can’t even begin to explain how impressed I was. Our server let us know from the beginning that they were short staffed and he was the only server there. At this time they were not very busy but the people were coming in steady. I was worried that we’d have long wait times on food and drink refills but to my surprise, the food was just as good as it always is, drinks stayed refilled and service never suffered. This young man nailed it by the end of our meal I was seeing more staff on the floor helping out so I’m to assume they got more people in to work but the restaurant only had 3 tables left empty and again no guests seem to be suffering from bad service. It appeared to be running as if they had full staff. This server was absolutely fantastic and the food quality was once again top notch. I already cant hardly wait to come back.”

After getting the order that was cold and a tray full of all drums I asked to remake the order and the manager was very nasty and racist to us and refused to remake order or refund our money, then said we were aggressive and called the police and banned us from the restaurant !!! I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE ANYWAY! I will be calling corporate and I will tell everyone I know to not spend your money there. They need new management, customer service training and better attitudes when dealing with the public!!!”

She was incredibly thoughtful from start to finish, walking me through lunch menu options, making smart recommendations and even bringing out the catering menu without me having to ask. She also looped in her manager right away so he could offer additional support, which made the entire process feel seamless and well coordinated. What really stood out was her attention to detail. I am planning a luncheon for 21 vegetarians, and Kat went the extra mile by checking with the kitchen on soups, sauces and desserts to make sure I avoided anything with meat. She even arranged for me to taste different sauces so I could make the best decisions for the group. On top of all that, she packed up my leftovers tableside so I could focus on finalizing my order. That level of care and efficiency is rare. Because of her, I felt completely confident placing my catering order right then and there. 10 out of 10 service.”

“We enjoyed our first visit to this establishment! They gave us quick, friendly service. They have a nice selection on the menu with sushi and soups as well as Hibachi choices. I chose the Steak Hibachi which included Zucchini, Onion and Mushrooms, served with your choice of white or fried rice, and I also ordered the Clear Onion Soup which was delicious (but did not get a picture) They have a "Sauce Station" in the restaurant which has some of the BEST Ginger Sauce I've ever had anywhere! “Tried this place for the first time today. I'm new to the area and this place was recommended as a local favorite. I went on a Tuesday and the special of the day was a spaghetti plate. So that's what I got and it was really good! The sweet tea was delicious as well. The employees were very nice and helpful. Seating is family style and makes it easier to meet other locals. You can also just take your order to go. It was VERY clean inside and had a really good health department food sanitation score. This is a great little local joint. I will definitely be returning.”

To our embarrassment, we had driven past it for over a year, assuming it was closed due to its dimly lit interior and lack of visible parking. As lovers of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, we excitedly ventured in to give it a try.

To our delight, we discovered a hidden gem that we had been missing out on for far too long! The restaurant offers an extensive menu, ranging from traditional Greek dishes like chicken kabobs and gyros to more familiar options like burgers, salads, and pizza. The homemade Greek salad dressing, perfectly cooked chicken, and delectable gyros were accompanied by mouthwatering pita bread, heated and coated with a special something that truly sets it apart.
