“This is our go-to place every Monday except for when they are closed or if something else is going on. They are just a little laid-back small town joint. Everyone who works there is always super nice. It can get a little crowded sometimes during lunch hour, but we always manage to find a spot. They also have a covered picnic area if you like to eat outside. Food is always delicious. The BBQ is the best in town (sorry to both Bridges lovers). Burgers are excellent, and so are the hot dogs. I highly recommend it. They only take cash, though, if you have never been.“

“Steak and seafood pastas are delicious! Bread comes warm out of the oven...even the butter is sweet! Staff is spot on and on top of it (thank you Vickie!). It is a plain jane kind of place in regards to atmosphere, however, what they lack in decor and color, they thoroughly makeup for with their food; and that is really what matters. Food was incredible!“

“My wife and I stopped into Ken & Mary’s restaurant for lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch . Breakfast all day . That’s what we got ! Delicious! They also have a buffet like option where you can pick out your meat and like two vegetables. Sundays they have a large buffet!
If you’re in Shelby NC stop in and give them a go ! You will be glad you did !! Our waitress was the best !!!

“Hands down best seafood and service I have had! Huge portions, one person can eat on it for 3 meals. Thickest whitefish Ive had. Firecracker shrimp was delicious. The wait staff was wonderful with my autistic toddler who can be a little difficult in restaurants. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!!!!“

“We were in town and stopped here because the menu seemed to have something for everyone in our group. Everything we ordered was so good! Pizza, a wrap, and I had the spinach artichoke dip - probably the best I've ever had! The brown sugar on the breadsticks appetizer was a little much but next time we would just get light or none.
Shay was our server and she was great. Food came out quickly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Didn't drink but they had a nice selection of drafts. Would definitely go back and recommend!“

“Took my wife out for our anniversary at Ruby Tuesday’s on July 14th. I ordered 1/2 rack ribs with fries and she ordered a hamburger, two salad bars, and tea. The total bill including a tip was $50.00. The Berger and salad was good, but th ribs were tough and dry and possibly left over from earlier and warmed over. I have eaten ribs before at the same place and always good.“

“I just stopped by the jive turkey cafe to try out breakfast and let me tell you, do yourself a favor and stop in and grab a bite, you won't regret it! my breakfast quesadilla is delicious! Don't sleep on this cafe because it is in the college, it is open to the public and the food is fantastic!“
“We had my son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner upstairs 3/26/26. We had the best experience with Kelly at Newgrass. She was so helpful with the whole process. The food was delicious and setting was casual and fun. 🙂 Thank you to Newgrass for making our weekend the best! ⭐️🌟“

“Wow! What a great hamburger. I have paid $15 for burgers that were not as good. It was cooked up fresh after I ordered it and was delicious. I could tell it is good quality hamburger meat. The fries were good also, they were large crinkle cut fries .And they were fried up fresh.. A friend told me about the lemonade and I tried it. It’s the best around and I even got a free refill. I love this place..A restaurant doesn’t have to be complicated to serve great food.“

“A little late on this review and I apologize for that. My friends and I went to this restaurant after a wedding and had some drinks and ate. The atmosphere was awesome and we had the pleasure of meeting Nancy. Nancy is the biggest reason we enjoyed the experience, she was funny and made us all laugh despite how exhausted we were. The drinks were very reasonably priced and the food was delicious.
10/10 would recommend again.“

“Over priced, sub par food and service. last time I went. I wanted hot sub,so what did they do,put it in the microwave. As long as they have been there, and they can't be like all the sandwich places, and offer hot sandwiches. Not every one wants a cold sandwich .“

“Very nice bar and extremely clean. Really good bloody marys. I definitely recommend. My husband got the dinner special and I had an appetizer. We split them and still had leftovers. I went back by myself today just for a spicy bloody mary. Brittany was great!!!“

“My grandparents love this place. The food is usually good but there have been some lackluster cases. Service is great. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a golden corral. The atmosphere is colder during the day but warmer at night. There could definitely be some better management choices. The staff are extremely friendly and I can't stress that enough.“

“Exactly what Waffle House is supposed to be. Clean location, friendly and efficient staff, and food that comes out hot and fast. Bacon, egg, and cheese on Texas toast with hash browns all the way (no gravy) hit the spot. Reliable, comforting, and clutch when you need it most.“

“My husband and I had a little date night at bee’s and had a GREAT experience!! We’ve been a few times and this was by far the best! We started with Mike as our server, then got handed over to Zack and a trainee when Mike got moved to bar. All 3 (Mike, Zack and trainee…unfortunately we did not get her name), were phenomenal! Great servers with great attitudes and customer service. The food was also good. Over all a 10/10 experience, especially made by the crew!“
