“For a special occasion last week, we travelled from Durham to Wilmington try this restaurant. We were NOT disappointed and it was so worth the trip! The dishes were all plant-based absolutely delicious. Even if you are normally a carnivore, you will not miss having meat. The restaurant space itself is beautiful and very tasteful and relaxing. All the staff were super friendly and hospitable. Felt like I was saying good-bye to friends when we left. Looking forward to my next trip to Wilmington!“

“I don’t usually leave reviews but they totally deserve one! We left the movies and my parents said “where are we having lunch?”. I said “right here! I looked at their menu during the movie”. Coquina did NOT disappoint. The “co’jito” and “café con leche” cocktails were perfection. The conch fritters were fantastic. In fact, we were shocked how many fritters come with the order and the size of them. Most restaurants we’ve been to that offered conch fritters come with (maybe) five fritters and always far smaller in size. And the actual amount of conch and size of the pieces: amazing. It was so nice to actually taste conch and not just breading/filler! And then the Cuban sandwich….. OMG….. My father and I always order a Cuban sandwich and judge a restaurant based on it if it’s on their menu. We both agreed that this was probably the best Cuban sandwich we’ve ever had! And we’ve tried them from Key West up to New England. The mayo balances out the mustard…. The melted Swiss cheese…. BUT the winner: the mojo-marinated SMOKED pork. Once you get through the creamy, savory, and tang, you get the smoke flavor and it’s just the perfect marriage of flavors. I know it’s supposed to be a fish-focused place, but do yourself a favor and get the Cuban sandwich!!“

“Hi guys !! I ordered pickup here and I was not disappointed the 4.7 star rating is there for a reason. The coconut shrimp was fantastic and the wings were good as well, but the drunken noodles stole the show! The drunken noodles here are never ending (the noodles aren't cut to pieces) leaving you with a mouthful of velvety texture and flavour. No other place in the area makes drunken noodles that aren't overly sweet or soggy and I genuinely enjoyed every mouthful. No other place will top this location and I hope to eat here again to try their other dishes. I LOVE THAI FOOD!“

We sat at the bar, Jason took care of us , if you’re looking for the ultimate experience and great customer service sit at the bar and let him wine and dine you you’ll simply love it just like we did . “I bought Pad Thai no peanuts and chicken. Picked it up and the chicken was so dry the whole dish was. I also bought dumplings had to use that saw on my Pad Thai. Eaten here before always good. This was upsetting $26 for a disappointment didn’t even finish it.“

Our server seemed annoyed and distracted. She was nice, but it was noticeable that she didn't want to be there. We has to rely on a different server to refill our drinks.“

“Came here on a whim with the my GF mid afternoon. We shared a small greek salad and a medium pizza with feta and artichoke. The salad was plentiful for two people with the contents spilling over. The pizza was a good size with just the right amount of toppings for how thin the crust was. New York fold doable! The crust was bake just right to hold the toppings. It was on the sweeter side and was not embellished with herbs and such. Just a good crust overall.

Service was great granted there were only 6 tops when we arrived.

Live music on Wed and Sun apparently. We will need to check it out.“

“We have been to Topsail Beach many times, but this trip was our first to the Breezeway Restaurant. We came on a Thursday evening; it was very busy. The food was wonderful! We enjoyed it so much we came back again the next night, our last evening on Topsail. We had shrimp, flounder, deviled crab, oysters, and the world's best hush puppies and slaw. This is now our favorite seafood restaurant anywhere. The view of the sunset was spectacular. The service was top notch, with a shout-out to Caitlin and Lucy. We hope to return again next year.“

“Stopped in for a late lunch with my wife and daughter. Ordered a large Caesar salad and a large white pizza, well done. It wasn't too busy our order was taken quickly. The salad came out and was kind of small for three people and $10. The pizza came out hot and fresh. Looked fantastic! Crust was cooked just right. Crispy and firm. It did lack a little flavor. I'm wondering if regular pizza sauce adds the flavor I was looking for. I'm not a huge fan of white pizza. Both my wife and my daughter liked it. It was pretty good. Next time I come I'm definitely getting a pepperoni. Well done. It also had several televisions with sports on.“

“Celebrated my birthday tonight with great friends and my children. We rocked an 80’s theme and had the absolute best waitress. I’ve never gotten bad service but tonight was truly over the top. They stored my cake for me while we ate then the crew came out with flames a flickering as they lit up the candles and all sang and clapped. “Ella at Nikkis in Wilmington, NC, provided exceptional service! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Her positive attitude and quick responsiveness really enhanced the dining experience. Definitely one of the best servers I've had—highly recommend asking for her when you visit! The only thing my wife and I were not happy with was an older woman who we assumed was the owner standing around and walking around the restaurant walking inside and out while we were next to the patio door. Other than that 10/10 recommendations!!“
