“My husband and I are going to the Amish country store up in Yadkinville from the Lake Norman area. I found this little place on Facebook and decided to give it a try. I have to say hands-down it was the best fried oysters, fried flounder fillet, hush puppies, and coleslaw we have ever had. I am originally from the coast and will say that these oysters were better than any I have had at the beach.”

“I was traveling this past weekend and decided to stop in this little coffee shop and grab a coffee for my trip back home! One of the BEST decisions I have made! The service was impeccable and I even met one of the owner’s, Rod! He was very friendly and polite, almost like seeing an old friend! The coffee is unmatched and is happiness in a cup! You can’t beat the service and can’t get this type of service at large chain coffee shops! If you’re ever near Elkin NC..get you some of this coffee! It’s the best! Hmmm…wonder if I could order some?!”

“We enjoy going to Masons occasionally for a date treat. It’s clean, easy to get to, plenty of ice cream choices, affordable. The only downside is that it’s a very regular occurrence that they don’t have hot fudge topping, which seems odd for a gourmet ice cream shoppe. Hopefully they can remedy this problem soon.”

“Dropped by in the afternoon and made a reservation. Owner promised us a certain seat. Someone else was there and not close to finishing. Owner found us a better solution. Ordered. Waitress came back to say that it would take a while. Like many, we had tickets at the Reeves at a certain time. Owner came over. Asked what we were having and said he would make it happen. And he did. Food was very good, beverage was very good, service from waitress and owner was exceptional. Support this place! Visit was on Dec. 2, 2023.”

“Great assortment of specials to choose from. how made potato chips to die for. ate sandwiches today with fresh vegetables. you will love the footling hot dogs but be sure to order them all the way. worth the drive to the country side to eat.”

“Love this little gem of a sandwich shop we discovered on our most recent vacation to Elkin/Traphill. Delicious sandwiches (the Tuscan chicken wrap is one I will crave!!) and cute outdoor seating area where our children could play while we weren't actively eating. “Ate at Romas the 1st time the other night & I have to say it was delish! I had the spaghetti Venice which is veggie spaghetti. Instead of the meat or marinara sauce, I asked for the Alfredo sauce & it was like no other pasta I had ever eaten! Their service was great, along with a great atmosphere. My friends had their wings & raved about them as well! I'm looking forward to my next visit for the wings!!”
