6 Best Vegetarian Restaurants near Hatteras

“My husband and I have been waiting to see this place opened up again. Many years ago it was a local Italian place but closed and we missed. Now it is open, currently Wednesday thru Sunday lunch and dinner. We were there early and there weren’t many patrons. Seems to have a brisk takeout business. I will add pics of this place.
It seems very family friendly. When we left around 630 pm there were 5 tables with families eating.
The bar has 16 seats and I noticed three additional bar seats up against wall. Not sure if they would fit actually up at the bar.
I was very pleasantly surprised with menu offerings. The burrata and tomatoes and pesto appetizer was great. The margherita pizza was fantastic see pics.. my husband had the menu special scampi and truly enjoyed!
I had a specialty drink, limoncello gin fizz and gave it high marks!

“First of all let me start by saying my husband and I traveled a long way to outer banks, (bucket list item), camping at a koa in camp Hatteras. Yes we are tourists, yes that brings revenue to your business. Did we know where we were going, no we did not! We are from Georgia took us 15 hrs to get to our campsite, due to flat tire, doesn’t really matter but our last night here we wanted to have a nice seafood dinner, went to your so called family restaurant, waitress was great food was good however all we heard from owner/manager/bartender was complaints about tourists driving how hard it was for him to get to work and damnwhy don’t they pull off the road. Guess what we are the people that pay your bills remember what you say can be heard. First time at outer banks probably last time and will never visit you again!!!“

“This is a great spot for any type of grilled creation you can think of. During our week on Hatteras island we had the ramp 55, the chopped cheese, and the island burger. All were excellent and pretty surprising for a small spot in front of the ferry. Definitely recommend. Also met the owner who really cares about the product he's making and his customers' experiences. He let me try a future menu item, and it was ridiculously good.“

“LOVE this dive bar! Small place with a great selection of seafood and drinks! Lives the atmosphere! All the locals make you feel welcome! Cool decor and clean. The servers/bar tenders are great!
