We then headed for the St. Paul Vineyards, only to find that they were fairly crowded, and that we'd previously visited there on an Asheville trip four years earlier. As we were driving out, I realized that we were only minutes away from Sonic happy hour, and an iced tea sounded like something I could get charged up about. Maria began looking for one on her phone, but something about the surrounding terrain seemed familiar, and I told her I sensed a Sonic close by. As expected, one appeared as we crested a hill, and it was the same one we'd had lunch at four years earlier. Burgers and iced tea were very good. Servers on roller skates continue to astound me. I have an aversion to body casts.“

Roy, the owner, is fantastic, and the atmosphere of the place is wonderfully welcoming. The food was outstanding! I enjoyed a homemade "Brunswick Stew," a delicious sandwich, and a Chicago hot dog that truly lived up to its reputation. Although a traditional Chicago hot dog doesn’t include ketchup, it was still excellent.

Overall, the combination of a cozy setting, excellent ownership, and fantastic food makes this place unbeatable in terms of value. I highly recommend it!

“Very unique place! I am not familiar w Mexican desserts , but I plan to be! Today we tried several things and all were delish. The owner makes every ice cream fresh by hand....also all of the frozen bars are homemade. I had a spicy pineapple bar and it was so good. Real pieces of pineapple. No fake artificial junk. I have already shared about this place on my fb. We will be visiting often this summer. Totally recommend this family business.“

She makes you feel so welcome and treats you like you are family. Andrea is one of the kindest, most caring and generous persons you will ever meet. Second, manager Cameron Harrington. Always makes sure you have a great dining experience. Cam is a really great guy and knows how to provide excellent customer service. Third, the pizza is DELICIOUS!!!!! I personally love the crispiness of the crust on the square pizzas and the fresh tasting toppings as well. The wings and cheese pi bread is very tasty too.
