“I just love this little bakery. They are always welcoming and so sweet. I love the whoopie pies they make. My favorites are pumpkin and oatmeal. Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!“

“Very cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff, I live just up the road from this coffee shop and was able to walk down and back in under 20 minutes! Cameron and Nastacia were both nice and engaging during my time and made me feel welcome to come back and try them again! I got the Bluebird Iced Latte with Oatmilk which reminds me of a cinnamon blueberry muffin (as if you got a blueberry muffin from Panera and added cinnamon to it). I look forward to my next visit!“

“Ate there the other day with my children. We ordered the Nutella crepe, some juices, a cold coffee and a hot coffee. Everything was very good. Customer service was great- the man was very sweet to us. I definitely want to bring my husband back here on the weekends.“

“Our sip and chat met there for the first time. We were welcomed by the staff and were not given a time limit on our stay. All of our beverages were wonderful. It’s a great location and beautifully decorated .
I must add to my review that the past 3 weeks the temperature in the coffee shop has been 80 degrees!!! When we asked the staff about making cooler they said it was set by management. We have email their web site and via facebook and received no response.“

“I shared with one of the workers something that took place previously, and they assured me that it was wrong. Well I have to tell you, I am very happy with this place after visiting today. I tried a Boston creme, and the last time I tried one in a dunkin' Donuts was in Four Oaks, and it was very bad. Or maybe South Carolina. Wasn't good, trust me, but this exceeded my expectations. Now I know where to go for Boston Creme donuts. I have been a very frequent visitor. You won't be disappointed. I get an egg, cheese and bacon, plain bagel sandwich, and it's good.“

“I always enjoy stopping by in the mornings to see Josh. He has worked for starbucks in catawba county for over 15 years. I followed him here from the LR location, Josh is the heart and soul of the local Starbucks scene. Nobody makes drinks as well as Josh does and i highly recommend you go by and see him. “Had a wonderful time at this Starbucks location. Spent the day putting together a Lego set with my son & we got to enjoy wonderful Vanilla Cold Brew coffees while putting the Lego set together. The place was super clean, the staff was extremely polite & were super fast with their service.“

“Best wedding cake ever! The sweetest lady there made our dream wedding cake! Not here to slander another business, but our original wedding cake came from another place and it was an absolute disaster. We went here, the day before the wedding, and explained what had happened and showed her the cake. She made this bride so inexplicably happy when she said she could make me a brand new cake, exactly the way I wanted it, in 24 hours. The end result was better than I could have dreamed it to be! She was absolutely amazing, in customer service and in her baking/decorating abilities. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing any types of cakes or cookies for special occasions. They will make sure it is what you want and make it look incredible!“

“There is a barista at this store named Lucas who changed my life. I know that it sounds silly but I just lost my mother and his kind words and exceptional customer service made me feel a lot better, I really needed that. What I did not need was the female barista, Kayla, to berate me and laugh in my face. Apparently servicing a grieving customer is “standing around talking” to her. I also saw her yell at Lucas for no apparent reason while he was working and she was on “break” I haven’t seen Lucas at the store in a while and I hope that girls mean words don’t have anything to do with it! -ML“

“Oct. 2024 Update. The new interior layout is nice. Although many of the dining tables have been removed, there's still a few seats including outside patio. The flow, efficient and layout is well planned out. Orders are made timely because staff aren't necessarily tripping over each other.

Never Gets Order Wrong. Great service, attitude and environment. I would like to support our local coffee shops, but we don't receive the same level of service at those places. Which surprises me.“

“First they gave a coffee which was not even Luke warm and when asked they brewed and gave a fresh coffee. Other food was good. Clean store. Clean restrooms. There is little ceasers also in the same gas station. I would definitely recommend stopping for a quick break.“

“Haven't been to Dunkin donuts for years. They have upped their menu quite a bit from what I remember. Tried the sausage egg and cheese croissant. Quite tasty with a regular coffee. I would order that again. I remember a wider donut selection.“

“I travel WNC , East TN , and SW VA weekly for work and this by far my favorite Starbucks. Staff is the friendliest of any Starbucks I’ve ever been too. Mobile orders are always correct and done quickly. Hickory must have a lot of Karens for this store’s rating to be below 4.5.“

“Amazing service by Chris in the drive through at 4:10 AM. I wanted a hot breakfast after getting off of work so I went to McDonald’s, the first one claimed it wasn’t open yet so I went an extra 20 mins down the road to this one. Chris had a great attitude and very helpful an insuring the biscuits were nicely fresh and hot, definitely will go back to that one and hope Chris gets some sort of recognition for his work.“

“Since I couldnt go to STARBUCKS, I had to go to Mcie D’s. I will say they were much more better than the stupid starbucks across the street. Listen here, i was there at a reasonable hour of 10:30, but they didnt want to serve me. I saw someone in there, but no. All i wanted was the new spicy dragonfruit drink, but they had to ruin my dreams. Its rediculous. Luckily, i was able to get a wonderful 10/10 mango drink. Thank you Mcdonalds for making my life better.“
