“I always get takeout at lunch from here and the food is good and the portions are great, especially for these times when most places are skimping on portion size!My favorite lunch specials are the shrimp pad thai, tofu and mixed vegetables and the vegetarian street noodles. They have different lunch specials everyday. The chicken noodle soup lunch special is also good and it is the same pho soup base they use in their pho soup. The chicken curry (dinner option) is very good and I suggest adding mixed vegetables. The fresh roll appetizer and shrimp roll appetizer are excellent! If you’re feeling adventurous, try the appetizer sampler platter - you can’t go wrong!I love getting their unsweetened ice tea as it’s made with the Thai iced tea mix and I can get the same flavor without all the sugar. The regular sweet tea is also made with this Thai iced tea base too!Parking can get crowded, especially at lunch so I always try to get there around when they first open. And there’s a reason it’s crowded - the food is consistent and reliably delicious. I appreciate that the menu items are not overly greasy or oily too.“
“Fast service and good food. The curry noodles with chicken was very good. The wide noodles with beef was excellent. Staff was friendly, service was fast. Atmosphere: not bad, they’re trying but the building and floor plan is very old, the bar is being used as a service area more than an actual bar.“
“Get the Pollo Hawaiiano. Don't ask questions. Just get it. All other food from all other places is dog food once you eat it. Best wait staff anywhere. Always smiling and super friendly. When you leave Tres Amigos, you are always fat and happy with a smile on your face.“
“The Pho broth is delicious and the aroma lets you know it's being done correctly. The tendon and tripe are for those of us that like it authentic if you don't you shouldn't have it. The spring rolls were average and they only had one server; although she did a great job. If they had real Sriracha I'd might have been tempted to give them 5 stars. There simply is no substitute for real Sriracha.“
“I love this place! The drinks are delicious and the service is fast. I haven't had much of the food, but what I did have was good. The staff are polite and helpful. The decor is a little kitschy, but it works for the vibe, and I'm not there for the decor anyway. So glad they're close by and I can pop in when I'm on that side of town.“
“When we first moved to North Carolina we looked all thru the triad and triangle for a good Vietnamese restaurant. We went to several, and this has been, by far, our favorite. The food is extremely fresh and the service is excellent. We've been coming here now for 17 years and we have never been disappointed“
“I have been a regular patron of this Vietnamese restaurant ever since it first opened its doors. My native Vietnamese friend confirms that the cuisine is mostly authentic. The menu offers an extensive selection of dishes, and they have recently added even more items to choose from. In my opinion, this is the only decent Vietnamese food available in this part of the Triad. The service has consistently been excellent, and the food quality is always well done. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.“
