“Listen, if you are looking for some of the best fried chicken you will eat in your whole entire life, make a stop at Journigan's and try the Krispy Krunchy chicken. I am from Texas and my husband is from North Carolina, and while we have our loving vigorous discussions about what BBQ tradition our house will honor, we both wholeheartedly agree that this place had some of the best fried chicken we both have ever eaten. It was crunchy, crispy, perfectly fried, not greasy, salty, and just a hint of spice. And they come with honey covered biscuits. This was perfect after a hike at Medoc mountain and made the hour trip from Raleigh a wonderful day excursion/hiking date. Thank you so much, and I look forward to visiting again!“
