“How did we ever survive in on Topsail Island without Maine Lobstah Shack!!! Having spent years in the New England region, I know good from great when it comes to Lobster! The lobster rolls are to die for and the lobster bisk is the best I've ever had. On top of that, it is a wonderful family owned and family run business. At the end of the day, it is the quality of the food that keeps us coming back! Treat yourself!!! Definately a five star experience!!“

“This was delicious. The owner is super nice and answered all of our questions as we are from the mountains of NC so oysters are not an everyday thing for us. “Just found this place and absolutely loved it. Light and refreshing meal before or after the beach. Service was fast and the people were incredibly nice. The food is great and exactly what I needed after spending time in the beach. Highly recommend!! Loved the outdoor seating and chill music.“
“We make sure to stop by the seafood shack at Lewis Seafood Market every time we visit Topsail! They have the best, freshest seafood on the island! We always enjoy checking out the market for fresh fish and fixins as well! Went by today and got the best snapper sandwich. Took a friend who got the seafood stew and converted him to a fan too!“
“Spacious outdoor venue — picnic tables with umbrellas. Absolutely the MOST delicious farmed oysters I’ve ever had, served raw or roast your own on one of several grills. Amazing toppings for the oysters. They also serve sausages for grilling and yummy shrimp salad. Lots if other unexpected seafood options. Great beer selection. What a treat to have the very freshest local oysters anytime of year! We LOVE this place and the terrific employees!! A+++.“

“The food was EXCELLENT, but we hardly ever saw the waitresse and she kept forgetting to do the things she said she would do. She didn't make much contact with customers. I would go back to this restaurant for the food, but I can't pay a generous tip when we have to keep tracking her down for water refills. (We gave up on the dressing and silverware.)“

“Alan is a PHENOMENAL server!! He is extremely attentive and good at what he does. The food was nothing less than divine. My husband got the grilled salmon and it literally melted in your mouth and I got chicken nachos and crab dip and I can't even think of an adjective.ro describe them that gives them justice. We will definitely be back in the near future.“

“We have been to Topsail Beach many times, but this trip was our first to the Breezeway Restaurant. We came on a Thursday evening; it was very busy. The food was wonderful! We enjoyed it so much we came back again the next night, our last evening on Topsail. We had shrimp, flounder, deviled crab, oysters, and the world's best hush puppies and slaw. This is now our favorite seafood restaurant anywhere. The view of the sunset was spectacular. The service was top notch, with a shout-out to Caitlin and Lucy. We hope to return again next year.“

“We went for the first time during Christmas 2025 while it was decorated. It looked like a small Angus Barn. Every inch was decorated for Christmas. Wonderful atmosphere to sit in and enjoy the holidays. The food was excellent and the service was great! Highly recommend!“

“My husband and son and I went Saturday for dinner and as always, it was delicious. The crab dip always spot on and the best around. A special Thank You to Tanner our server, he was awesome and did such a wonderful job and made sure everything was spot on for us to have a relaxing and enjoyable dinner. Tanner you were awesome and your personality and how you deal with your customers was great, please keep that up. My heart went out to you and I felt bad after the table next to us ran you and spent $200 if not more and left you such a crap tip, that was so wrong. But don't let people like that discourage you, keep doing you, because you were great!!!“

“Who doesn’t love lunch with a view?! We first came here on our honeymoon in 2022 and loved it so much we came back in 2026 with our little guy! The food & service were amazing, 10/10! We can’t wait for our next visit!
If you like a cute local shop with excellent sea food options, this place is for you! If you are looking for some fancy dining establishment and you are just gonna be a negative nancy about every little detail, then this place isn’t for you.“
