“I ordered the donkatsu and the yellowtail roll for take out.The yellowtail roll was very good, with minimal rice thats not flattened to death like some other places. It perfectly encompassed a large piece of yellowtail that tasted fresh. It was very addictive in taste and mouth feel for me.The donkatsu was breaded and fried perfectly with minimal breading (which i love) surrounding a nice juicy pork cutlet. Also very good.I definitely want to come back to try the other sushi options.“
“This was our first time eating here. The service was amazing and the waitress kept checking on us and was super friendly. The food was all made fresh as it was piping hot and really good. I am not sure why we waited so long to eat here, but we’ll be back.“
“Great sushi, bento boxes and kids meals. Our service was great and the crazy roll were flavorful. The ginger dressing was fresh and the miso soup was one of my favorites. Our table ordered a variety and were glad to try hibachi and teriyaki entrees. We look forward to more to try.Kid-friendliness: Different options to try“
“Clean place. Service was good. We had appetizers - brussel sprouts and deep-fried chicken. Both delicious. My party had sushi. I had shrimp teriyaki with fresh vegetables and fried rice. Delicious. Little pricey but definitely a return place for us.“
“Located in the corner of a plaza with a biker bar next door, this place stays busy with take-outs! We decided to dine in as we had some time to kill. It is sparce with seating, but their biggest draw is to-go orders. The food is made fresh and hot and plenty for leftovers, as most Asian eateries provide.“
“As a Seattle native and recent transplant in CLT, Miku is my go-to spot for sushi. I’ve had the pleasure of dining a handful of times and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly and the ambience is inviting. The restaurant is very clean and organized. In my opinion, Miku’s overall quality & value easily beat out the competition - Red Sake. I’ve recently moved further away from Miku, but I will continue to make the drive for some great sushi!“
“This place is definitely worth a visit!! Sushi is one of our favorite but hard to find a good place. This place checks all the boxes. Food- I think my rolls were Spider, Hibachi beef and Miru Mountain and they were sooooo good! My fiancee ordered a bento box and the meat was very good and tender. The service was great, the staff is very welcoming and attentive. The presentation was beautiful and price is very reasonable. The atmosphere is nothing pretentious, is on the darker side, more light would be nice. We will definitely be back! Enough parking right in front of the restaurant, so that is a plus!“
“Wonderful sushi and great hot food options. My favorite is Spicy Thai Basil chicken and for sushi I love the Red sake roll as well as the Phoenix roll. The staff is awesome. Have followed Steve and Yisa from Wild East Bistro and happy they are so close by! Give them a try!“
“I’ve come here since I was little with my mama. I love the manager here and the staff and how they treat the customers! Always great food and service! Good food for good money and portions! Can’t beat it at all! I miss coming here as I used to but I always look forward to visiting ! Much love for this restaurant & I absolutely recommend them to everyone!“
“Go-to Asian food. It's quick, good, and relatively cheap. Not the best sushi I've ever had, but definitely worth the price. The entree portions are large as well. I've been numerous times for lunch and dinner and haven't found a better go-to in Charlotte!“
“The food is fantastic I definitely recommend the salmon avocado roll and the vegtable tempura it's super yummy the staff aren't very socialable but I am still a frequent guest here since trying it I definitely think the sushi tastes fresh and delicious great casual spot for hangout with family and friends and good for a quick little date night :)“
“This place is an amazing. It's a small place on Monroe Rd, but they have a BIG IMPACT. The food is great. I typically get the eel and they have about 4 eel options. The wasabi is great. I feel right at home and the people working here are always the nicest. If you're looking for good sushi, here you have it. ✌?“
“I have been here a few times and don’t have any complaints. It was a later lunch when we went so there wasn’t a lot of people inside. I ordered the Volcano Roll and the Edamame. Everything was so tasty and made well. The volcano roll sounds spicy with the jalapeños on it and yet it perfect.“
“The food is delicious, but it is not going to be the best suchi you have ever eaten. Like any other buffet, the speed of their dishes means that the products are not 5 stars, but despite that, it is probably the best suchi that I have eaten at any other “
“Good food and plenty of it. They don't really have wheelchair seating but they found a pretty good spot with plenty of space to sit one. They made sure my cup was full and I left feeling full and satisfied with my meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking isn't hard as long as they aren't too full and although they don't have designated tables for wheelchairs they do have a few tables with enough room for wheelchairs. Probably just 2 or 3 though.“
“The food tastes good and is at a fair price. The staff is friendly, but they do not bother you too much as to annoy you. The atmosphere is pretty bare bones and does not have all of the frills and thrills of some restaurants, but they really don't need it. I come for the food, not the atmosphere.I got the hibachi shrimp and scallops for lunch, and it comes with soup or salad. I have never complained about the food. It is cooked fresh, served hot, and always delicious.Parking: Plenty of parking. I have never had a problem parking right up close to the building.Kid-friendliness: It is perfectly fine for children and families. We almost always come with our kids.“
“This was a great family dinner experience. Set up reservations here on Google and we walked in and sat down with zero wait. Perfect for large groups we had 11 and wrapped a table could have added 9 more. The waitress was extremely nice and accommodating with our crew. So entertaining with the hibachi chef playing food games with the kids they loved it!!! Lots of food even for starving teenagers. Not as pricey as others and well worth it for the experience and customer experience!!!Parking: Parking lot was fullKid-friendliness: The chefs were very entertaining to the kids!“
“My experience here has always been top notch and delicious! It has been consistently great from when I was pregnant to now sharing meals on dinner dates with my son. The staff is always friendly and helpful. To-go orders are just as great as dining in as well. All this to say: you should go and experience this comforting place.“
“March 2024. Alright.... For real this time. Slacked off last 2 years but I mean it this time. Will never return or go to other buffets unless it's with a lucky girlfriend in the future. (Need to lose weight and get ripped/ buffed) Thanks for being so nice to me even though I was by myself, eating for 1. Saw a happy couple right beside my table and felt so happy for them. Someday, I will be like them. And someday, I wouldn't eat way too much to get my money's worth and just eat there to date. Someday. Sah Luh Nah Lah, Saronara.“
“After reading one of my other pho reviews of other pho places I'm Charlotte I've really been contemplating one question: What is the quintessential American pho experience. Now, personally, I prefer the tight, small, let's say "quaint" vietnamese places preferably with a bunch of dudes outside smoking and/or playing cards. There has to be some kind of gambling machine nearby. The music is vietnamese. that kind of stuff.Be-em has truly nailed it. Heart mind and body. There's no host, no server to seat you, you walk in and order from a nice big tablet. Take your time. Read through it all. It's touchscreen so it's very intuitive. I love it. Really feels like more restaurants need to follow exactly Be-ems lead. For the heart, this place is beautifully decorated with high ceiling and just it's a while vibe you gotta check out. For the mind, there are these laminated papers that have the story behind the restaurants name and frankly it almost brought a tear to my eye, really soothes the soul to see hard work pay off and be so real. For the body, well ultimately this is why every one eats, the pho was great! Definitely a google maps 5 star. I will now include what I call my "graduated pho scale" which is the most critical lens with which I grade wherein a 10 is essentially michelin star so-to-speak. This pho gets a 7 which is very good. The broth for me was a little salty but the meat was excellent. That reminds me I gotta rant about this meat cuz it was really really good. The pho got a 6 but the meat elevated it to a 7 for sure. You can really taste how they pride themselves on the meat I loved how the brisket had a smokey quality and I've never gotten more meatballs served to me in a pho "special" although I don't think it came with tendon or tripe. That said, this is probably the best experience for first time pho tryers and for kids! They have lots of Boba tea options and pho is only a little bit of the menu there are lots to try!Overall experience was a 10/10 this isn't just a restaurant it is a total hang out spot like get a drink with your friends and chill super cool kind of place!“
“Wonderful clean buffet run by a very accommodating family. They didn’t have roast duck on the buffet available as yet when I was there but went above and beyond to make me some. It was fantastic roast duck. Their butterfly shrimp was also outstanding. So was their vegetable chowmein. I want to go back to sample much more of their buffet items. Restaurant was overall very clean also.“
“Tuesday was the first time that I've eaten at Kaiziku restaurant. I've eaten Japanese meals before, but not here. I had no idea what to order. Thank goodness for a great couple that came in and gave me some suggestions. I am so happy I ate here. I ordered the shrimp fried rice with vegetables and an order of crab ragoon. My dinner was delicious!!! Everyone was very polite and understanding of me being confused as to what to order!! Kaizoku Japanese Cuisine & Pike Bowl restaurant, Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!! I will be back!!! ???????“
