“I try to come to this little food court when I'm in the area and decided to try Sizzling for the first time today. It gets ready relatively quickly and the main course is pretty tasty but I'd recommend to get an extra sauce cup for sure. I did feel that the customer service was a bit subpar but I feel like it was just the individual who took my order and served me.“

“Excellent service. Food always comes out hot, fast and fresh right off the grill. Teriyaki beef, shrimp and chicken are all good. Ask for double protein and maybe extra sauce, cause that sauce is so delicious. Perfect when the veggies are soaked in it.

I missed Sarku so much, I've last had it at least 10+ years ago. I was sooo happy finding Sarku at the food court in Carolina Place Mall!!! :) 9/10 times I'll order from here if I am at this specific mall.

“I have visited here multiple times in the past 17 years when I lived in Charlotte. Food was very authentic back then, but it changed a bit over time. And the majority of customers back then were Japanese. Or maybe there are many Japanese restaurants in Charlotte now.

A recent visit is still good, even though the food has become a little more Americanized, in my opinion. Customer service is as good as it was on my first visit 17 years ago. Prices are reasonable. I would come here again when I visit Charlotte.“

I really love the food here but I came during lunch and I received the worst service ever. 45 mins for a roll and I was the only customer in there for the first 30 minutes. It was upsetting to have to ask for a refill and sauce and for someone to please bring my food.“

“My family and I ate at Hanako last night, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We ordered miso and hot soups along with several rolls — spicy salmon, spicy tuna, volcano, dragon, and the Hanako roll. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Even though the restaurant was short-staffed, our food arrived on time, and the staff remained attentive. The bathrooms were also very clean, which I appreciate. The only drawback for me was that the lighting was a little dim.

Your food is in togos but that never stops it from hitting everytime ! Love it here and even though we’ve moved all around charlotte , wether its a 5min or 25 min we will continue coming here !“
