“Siempre vengo aquí a comer comida fresca con mi marido. Vivimos en Havelock, pero no me gusta la comida mexicana allí como aquí, porque toda el agua fresca, las salsas y las tortillas son caseras. y la carne es muy fresca. Muchas gracias a la familia que trabaja muy duro para hacer todo esto. Deberías estar orgulloso del excelente establecimiento que has creado. Se refleja en la comida. Nunca dejes de hacer tan buena comida. 10/10 This is the best taco spot I've been to since I moved from California to havelock my husband, and I love coming here. It's worth the 20-minute drive to and from very time. Food is always fresh, and you can taste the effort the family that works here put into it. I never am waiting too long service is quick and wonderful. It is such a nice place to relax to eat and hang out or get a quick bite to go. 10/10.”

“Bojangles is always a great place to eat. The staff was slow. Look like they needed an attitude adjustment. Two of them I would have sent home. I think two other customers felt the same way I did.”

“Quaint French Patisserie in the downtown New Bern area. They serve Lavazza Coffee which is excellent. The pastries are delicious and beautiful. You will find it hard to pick what you want to eat. It all looks so good! You can stop in and get some work done. There are plenty of tables, comfy chairs, and even bar seating. Lovely art on the walls and enjoyable French music playing makes for a charming visit.”

“Where do I start with Kuma Sushi Bar in downtown New Bern?Let’s start with the amazing customer service that I am greeted with everytime I come in. The manager Geoffrey is very kind and will make sure you feel at home when dining in at Kuma. All of the servers are very well-spoken and kind when informing you on their menu, which is very well-made and unique for their location. The setting and tone of the restaurant is very subtle with various Japanese art pieces and displays that really plays into the aesthetic of the scenery. I’m going to revisit this wonderful establishment every chance I get.”

“Fantastic breakfast in a huge space though I had to walk upstairs for the bathroom since the lower one was closed. Great service that was timely and thoughtful. The pancakes were fluffy and tasted great. The syrup here is unique! I was a little unsure because it was so thick and sweet but once on the pancakes it was a great balance. The sausage and eggs were perfect, and the hash brown side was dense and rich. So much food! The coffee wasnt particularly impressive and cost $3.50...which would only be worthwhile if you drink at least two cups. A filling and hearty breakfast to start the day of walking around the city. The servers seemed very friendly and familiar with the regulars so that's a nice community feel.”

“There's almost always a wait but it's worth it. Check out the brisket burger and "frites," which are really just french fries but they're very good.I think the key to the brisket burger is bacon jam that they put on there. I've never gotten anything else one of going to this place because why I mess with a good thing?Asked them on my visit tonight about the bacon jam. They make it in house, but they will sell me some so I'm probably going to go back before I leave town and get some. Hopefully the TSA won't flag of as dangerous.”

“I ordered take out for an office luncheon the night before our lunch & the order was ready on time, boxed up nicely, they helped me carry everything out to my car & were exceptionally nice! There was not a single complaint! Everyone loved the food! Because if the great prices & the quality of their food our office will definitely be ordering again!”

“I discovered The Garage thanks to an app that points out places where RVers can stay overnight. So I arrived in the early evening, spent a few hours with a beer or two on their free wifi and then moved the Sprinter van around to the side. It was a quiet night. The Garage is, yes, a former repair shop complete with rolling doors that were open on this pleasant evening. It was not at all busy inside so I was able to drink a delicious local beer with my laptop. And since I'm not driving, I had a second one. “Beartown Bistro has yet to disappoint me. The ambience is great, the owner an amazing woman, and they have 5 new food specials every week. That's impressive. Always fresh, new choices. Never hum drum. Did I mention they have a full bar as well?????? Rumor has it, the ladies at Mosquito Hunters eat there all the time too. That's a sure sign the food is great!”
