“Traveling with family and went in for a bathroom break and to order dinner. The bathrooms were quite gross. However, the service was friendly and nothing was wrong! We did not eat inside so cant comment on the clenliness of the rest of the place.“

I got resurrected by espresso.
Theresa and Taylor don’t make coffee — they run a caffeine revival on the beach. I walked in half asleep, windblown, questioning my life choices… and left ready to buy oceanfront property I can’t afford.
The vibe? Front porch Southern charm with main-character energy.
The coffee? Strong enough to wake up the Wright Brothers.
The service? Faster than OBX traffic before the bridge backs up.
Theresa runs that place like a 5-star general of grind and steam.
Taylor hands you a cup like she already knows it’s about to fix your entire morning.
And let me say this clearly —
If you have a problem here… if you leave a bad review here…
YOU are the problem.
Not the coffee.
Not the service.
Not the vibe.
This is hands down the best coffee in OBX. Period.

“I stop by here quite frequently and I can confidently say this is one of the nicest and cleanest subways I've ever been to. Staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and my sandwich is always made perfectly. The bread always tastes fresh, and im always impressed by how nice the veggies look! Plus they slice most of the meat in house as well!Its amazing how they can continue to run this store so exceptionally while being extremely short staffed! I swear I see the same to girls work all day and night, it almost seems like theyre the only employees there! But despite that they are always so friendly and quick! Excellent job ladies, keep up the good work!!“

“Y'all, it's a deli counter inside a gas station. If you understand that going in and adjust your expectations accordingly, you'll have a MUCH better day. The food is BANGIN' though, so stop by, fill up your tank, get you some biscuits and gravy, and take it to the beach for some soul food in the sand.“

“Very good burgers, fries and shakes. The staff is friendly and works hard getting orders out. Food portions are great with more fries than most folks can eat. Our local 5 Guys could use a bit more cleaning as far a tables but the staff never stops working and seem to try to keep up but they appear shirt staffed. The floors are slippery sometimes.“

“I had the best veggie Subway sub I have ever had while visiting Nags Head. I regularly have a Subway veggie sub three times a month at my favorite place and local shop, while very good, can't compare. The young woman who prepared it was very polite, smiling and friendly and piled on a volume of each of my vegetables. The sandwich was so thick I couldn't finish the whole 12-inch sub in one sitting which is a rarity. Everything was fresh and the bread was perfect. We go to OBX every year and I know where I'll be getting my lunch!“

“I placed an order via the mobile app, curbside. Before I could exit the app, the lady was at my car window with my food. I was impressed. If you go to manteo McDonald's and plane an order by the app you will have to set for half an hour and then go inside just to make sure they got your order, only to find out the skipped you!“
