“I would like to leave a review based on the great customer service and food I received last night. I placed my order for the Salmon with broccoli and fried rice. Not knowing it is cooked in Teriyaki sauce I placed the order. Once I received it I was disappointed in myself for not asking. I eat everything plain. I called around 8 pm not to complain but in hopes that they were able to make a new order for me without the sauce. They agreed. I was very thankful for them being understanding. They made my order to perfection in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely eat here again. Thank you!“

“I absolutely love going to Hibachi K Express! 😍 The hibachi chicken and rice with zucchini and carrots is always cooked to perfection. 🍚🐔 The yum yum white sauce is the perfect finishing touch—it really brings everything together! 🤤 I’ve been coming here for a while, and it never disappoints. “The sushi was excellent and really good value. However, it seems to be more of a take-away restaurant. It is possible to eat there but only in the take away boxes. However, this has no influence on the very good taste.

“This is my go-to comfort food after a hard day at work. Chicken hibachi noodles with extra broccoli for just $14.13 after tax, which I usually get 2 meals out of (1 meal if I'm HONGRY). The staff are always friendly, sweet, quick, and helpful. They've never asked for tips, and there's not a tip field on the receipt, which makes me want to tip them more in the jar, lol. Their food is SO GOOD, I have to close my eyes when I take a bite to savor it. Wonderful place and staff. Thank you for being my comfort place after my tiring days.“

“I order from here all the time. The staff is nice and my food is always great. I get the Tenko Chicken. Quick, convenient, predictable comfort food. And it's kind of silly, but I don't have to ask anyone for chopsticks, you can just grab them as you need them.“

“I will say that I can be a bit of a Hibachi snob, as it's one of my favorite foods, so I was a bit hesitant about eating hibachi that isn't cooked directly in front of me.

This is the first time that I've ordered take-out for hibachi buuuuuut it was excellent!! I ordered the Shrimp and Steak and it was delicious!

The pre-packaged yum-yum and ginger sauces (they standardly provide 2 yy and 1 ginger) were also unexpectedly amazing and they complimented the meal perfectly. The portions were also generous, as they completely covered my to go box.

I will DEFINITELY be revisiting this hidden gem the next time I had to Raleigh! I've found a new favorite!“
