“I made my own poke bowl with tuna, crab salad, assorted vegetables, and eel sauce—it turned out great! It was flavorful, high in protein, and surprisingly affordable for what I got. The only slight disappointment was the crab rangoons; they tasted and were textured mostly like cream cheese. Calamari also seemed a bit dry. Otherwise, I throughly enjoyed the poke bowl.“

“Ate lunch here today and our waitress was awesome and the sushi chief brought us 2 free sushi dishes to try. My husband got the fried fish and it was so fresh and good. They bring you out house made pork skins too. Wonderful experience. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend!“

I ultimately decided on the Mussamun Curry, intrigued by its unique name and my appreciation for curry dishes. The flavors exceeded my expectations—a subtle peanut-infused coconut curry sauce complemented by onions, potatoes, and whole cashews, added a nice balance of texture. I opted to add chicken as a protein. I'm certainly glad I took a chance on this selection!“

The staff are quiet but provide kind and fast service, which is fine because the food speaks for itself. It’s easily better than other places around and cost ~30% less, with a simple menu that offers enough variety without causing option overload. The sushi and steak hibachi my girlfriend and I ordered tasted fresh and was so good she finished it quickly despite having no appetite. I normally only bother to leave negative reviews if ever, but it’s nice to see a small business still holding higher standards and food service than more “established” restaurants who charge more. If you’re looking for a little spot to dine or to just have as your go-to take out spot, this is the place. It might not look like much, but order something and find out what a steal each plate is.“

“I will say that I can be a bit of a Hibachi snob, as it's one of my favorite foods, so I was a bit hesitant about eating hibachi that isn't cooked directly in front of me.

This is the first time that I've ordered take-out for hibachi buuuuuut it was excellent!! I ordered the Shrimp and Steak and it was delicious!

The pre-packaged yum-yum and ginger sauces (they standardly provide 2 yy and 1 ginger) were also unexpectedly amazing and they complimented the meal perfectly. The portions were also generous, as they completely covered my to go box.

I will DEFINITELY be revisiting this hidden gem the next time I had to Raleigh! I've found a new favorite!“
