“Happy St Patrick's Day!!!! What better reason to spend St Patrick's Day enjoying some beer and some good food. The weather was absolutely perfect. The fish and chips were delicious and the chicken breast sandwich was as well. The sweet potatoes fries were yummy and the gumbo was a little spicy but good. Loved the pet friendly atmosphere and the staff were so kind and welcoming. We love this area and the people is the main reason. Great spot to stop to get a drink and some food. The live music is an extra treat. Thank you for having us and we'll definitely be back.“

The ice cream was smooth and the tasty, n ano will perfectly ripe but not overripe and they were plenty of goodies, nuts, pineapple and strawberries and top with the whipped cream and a cherry. All on the list of the things that we're not supposed to eat and it was most excellent.“

“I ordered the biggie breakfast and everything was well seasoned. My nephew enjoyed the blueberry pancakes. The food was so good I had to Google her. I ordered off of DoorDash. “Learned about this place in Blue Ridge Motorcycling magazine and stopped in today 12/20/2023 after visiting Chimney Rock SP. Glad I saw the article and stopped in cuz this place is awesome! I had the special which was a Blackened Shrimp PoBoy, my wife had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and my son had the Pork Nachos. It was all delicious! And don't forget the cole slaw on the side because it's the best cole slaw I've ever had. I'm not really a cole slaw guy, but I ate mine and scavenged the table to finish off everyone else's! The Nachos were piled high with pork and cheese. Their pork has a deliciously smoky flavor. Add in a basket of oven braised brussels sprouts....you won't be sorry you did! I washed it all down with a Devils' Head Red Ale which was excellent. And it was all served by great folks that made sure our visit was enjoyable. Oh, and they have several levels of deck so you can have a seat overlooking the river, or sit so close to it that there are signs about swimming! LOL We will definitely return and this will be a target for future motorcycle rides to the area. Keep an eye on their FB page for events and live music! Thanks Nick!“

Burntshirt Vineyard at Chimney Rock Pet Friendly • $$
461 Main St, Chimney Rock - 2.68 miles

“I've dined here twice in the last 6 months. Both times I had a dog, so I sat outside on the patio- and it is so nice. Beautiful views while you eat and enjoy your wine! Twice I've had the smash burger, and it is SO GOOD. Ordered the brussel sprouts on both visits as well, they are perfection. A lot of places toss them in a sweet and spicy Thai sauce- but not here- they use a different dressing and it's delicious! Today I did a wine flight, and that includes four 2 oz pours. I tried the Gruner Veltliner , The reserve Chardonnay the white blend with the GV/Chard/Riesling, and the Rose. They were all nice and refreshing. On my first visit I ordered a burger patty for my best girl, (It was her birthday, and we'd hiked 9+ miles!) and today the pups split a grilled chicken breast. They are super dog friendly, and bring out water for the dogs. We had the beignets for dessert today, they were delicious. If you are hiking around Chimney Rock, Bat Cave, Lake Lure, then I highly recommend planning your lunch or dinner here!“

“Angelique…is Amazing. We’re from Rutherford County and spent the evening in Chimney Rock for my birthday. Kris booked the tasting room for my group of 10, and set us up with Angelique. We felt like we were wanted there, from the minute the hostess greeted us. We had a GREAT time. After discussing our whole experience from where we stayed, to the different places we experienced and Burntshirt was collectively the best experience. Some of the places we went, we didn't really feel "welcomed", ( which is sad to be treated like that in your own county) but the staff knocked it out of the park. Angelique laughed with us , helped us choose our flights and food, she was on top of everything. 10/10 highly recommend!!“
