“Got fajitas takeout last night. It was great! With the fajitas, you get the fajita meat and grilled vegetables in one container then in another container, you get rice beans and then in like a little shell tortilla shell you get lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole that’s in a different container and then the flower or corn tortillas come rolled up and some aluminum foil and then of course you also get chips and salsa is a whole lot of food. My family was very happy, and we had leftover fajitas the next day. Definitely ordering here again!!“

“I’ve been to just about every Que Onda location around Charlotte, but finally remembered to take photos at the Matthews spot tonight. As a California-born taco lover, I’m almost embarrassed to admit how incredible the tacos are here... because I’ve eaten at just about every hole-in-the-wall from Tijuana and all up and down the East Coast. I know good tacos, and this place absolutely deserves its flowers.

Every single taco was phenomenal, but the steak is out of this world. The flavors are bold, the textures are on point, and the tortillas hold everything together without falling apart, which is a bigger deal than people realize. “Tacos el trompo make the best burritos in town. This is a go to for my family when we are shopping at the mall. The burritos are so big we slip them in half and share with my whole family. This is something I would order for dinner to feed my family. They have fast service and I like their salsa verde with my burrito. They also have delicious drinks.“

“I came in to try their version of Pollo fritto- fried chicken. This chicken was well marinated- fried to perfection and the sauces- 1 avocado salsa and 1 salsa picante were heavenly 😋 they underestimated me as they were unaware I am fluent in Spanish so I quickly changed the interaction ordering my food in Spanish and we both smiled and chatted while I waited for my food. This place is so welcoming and warm with great authentic dishes and I love the fact they make tortillas from scratch! The taste is so much better and natural!“

Eduardo found it and his wife called me giving me the address of the food truck. I went to their location and retrieved the wallet from him this afternoon. While this review doesn't speak to their food, it says much about the integrity of the men that operate this food truck. Honesty should not be as rare as it is these days but know that it exists at Antojitos de Nagua at 6721 East Independence Blvd. I will return to try their food as soon as I get my replacement debit cards. “I was in class in Monroe and we were dismissed for lunch hour. My friend, Brian, chose El Vallarta. It was close and we could get in and out quickly. The staff provided friendly service. The quesadilla was not too bad. The lunch specials were under $10. We had an enjoyable lunch and then back to class.“

“I love El Valle. Family owned. Has been in Matthews for many years. My family and I have been eating here for probably 10 years. The service is excellent. They don't have much turnover in staff so they remember us. Now that our son has moved away, they always ask how he is doing. The food is always fresh and excellent. Our order is always correct. The prices are reasonable. My favorites are Chimmichanga, Polo Adobe, Polo Especial, Fajita. I love their salsa.“

“Absolute terrible customer service at the food truck. No signs with form of payment however went to pay for food and demanded either cash or a “tap to pay card”. Had a debit & credit card but claimed the machine was tap only. When asked if there was a sign stating either cash or tap card only, was told no he doesn’t have to have a sign posted…. No good for business in the least bit. Never would have ordered if you had a sign posted!!!!“
