“I had been a patient at Mission Hospital for three days. They brought me in my Easter Dinner and I cried. The pork steak was sour. Nothing they had brought me was edible. I truly sat there crying and my nurse came in and I told her I was starving. She sniffed my food and made a face. She told me then, "you know you can order out for delivery". Then she said that when she was a patient there that she ordered out for all meals. I chose PIE:ZAA and ordered a slice of sausage. It was so good. When the nurse brought it to me she said "Good Choice." My stomach was smaller after not eating for three days but I almost killed that giant piece of pizza. It was a good amount and since I've gotten home I wish they delivered up on Rock Knob! I will go out of my way to go there when I am in town and will recommend everyone who will listen :)“

“I was visiting my sisters and their friend in Asheville and was invited to eat at Pizza Mind. My group are all vegetarians, but I am not.They ordered personal sized pizzas with vegetarian toppings. I did get a taste of the Roasted Beets and Cauliflower pizza. It was a very good combination. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and a Caesar side salad. The dressing was authentic with anchovies. I'm not a fan of anchovies, but it was so well balanced, I really didn't mind. I ate the whole thing. The Cuban came on a really great bread. I think it was baked locally and was really fresh. The rest of the sandwich tasted good, but a little skimpy on the meats. I'm used to Florida Cuban sandwiches which are plump with meat. I would visit Pizza Mind again on my next trip to Asheville and try a pizza.“

“This was the most friendly place I have ever eaten. The food was delicious. I had calamari, chicken marsala, the most amazing tiramisu. The bread with garlic infuse olive oil left you asking for more it was so good. I loved that it was a truly local place and not touristy in a city built around tourism.“

“Our family of four loved it. You order right when you come in the door and they give you a number. The cashier was nice and witty. They have a few inside tables and more tables available on the covered patio. We had the bbq chicken pizza, Scarface minus the spicy salami, and the spinach salad side. Both pizzas were great and there always a nice char on the crust (but not too overpowering). I liked that the chicken in the bbq pizza wasn't dried out like some places tend to do. The side salad is only $2 less than the entree portion, so I'm wondering how big the entree is because the side was pretty big. The flavors of the salad and dressing went well and I loved the local made feta. Overall, this is a solid bet for a quick bite.“

“We ordered for pick up. Our order was ready earlier than the estimated time, and I appreciate that! We got the garlic knots. I wish they were a little more fresh. A little refresh in the microwave made them nice and soft again, so I can't complain! They had just the right amount of garlic/parm and the marinara was very, very flavorful and complemented the knots. I almost ate the marinara by itself. The cheese pizza was SO GOOD! The proportion of sauce to cheese without making the dough soggy was perfect. I was not a fan of the supreme toppings, however, I did read the description and decided to order anyways. I opted to 86 the olives, but you gotta give it to a business who knows how to spread the toppings evenly throughout a pizza and not just in the center making the pizza soggy. The toppings were very, very generous and the pizza was cooked well. “We have done curb-side take away a number of time since moving to the area and the pizza is always great. Finally, we had the chance to dine in and everything from the food to the service was wonderful. We ordered wings as an appetizer. The sauce was amazing and the house made blue-cheese to dip them took them to the next level. Our pizza was cooked just like we like it, crispy and the flavor was awesome. Galactic Pizza does not disappoint. It is our go to pizza place!“

Hollie was wonderful at communicating back and forth and putting together a menu for the wedding that was absolutely perfect! She provided us with items for cocktail hour, and while guests were raving about the dip she made, seeing firsthand the joy on a friends face with her cheese sauce said more than words could. The female bartender with short brown hair (I think her name is Kara) always plays the perfect tunes on Sunday evenings. Also, it’s actually affordable booze and IN downtown Asheville.“

“This was my first time going to Marco's. Their food is so fresh! Croutons crispy not hard as a rock. Caesar Salad was so good! Thanks Magnifico Pepperoni Pizza was loaded with meat, no skimping here. It was very spicy but the salad toned the spices down a bit. Love this place and will be back for more. I just wish they had a dine in area.Parking: Besides grocery store, plenty of parking.“
